"Oh about that... " Curl tried to come up with an excuse but her brain short-circuited. "I was just, um, trying to... "
"Yeah, you were helping me fall asleep, right?" Red could tell that Curl was having a hard time so he gave her a suggestion that would make their conversation a little less uncomfortable. "Thank you, and sorry for knocking you out," Red muttered.
"N-no, it's fine." Curl stuttered even though she was a bit irritated about it. But when it comes to Curl's bias on Red, she readily forgave him for it.
"Yeah, sorry." Red repeated.
"As I said, it's fine. If it would make you feel better then just give me a proper hug next time." Curl pointed out. She didn't want to admit that she liked the hug, regardless of what followed after that.
"Look at them go." Gadge clicked his tongue. He said it loud enough for Red and Curl to hear since he wanted to tease them. He knew there was nothing going on between them, or at least not yet.
