"What, really?!" Red exclaimed.
The piece of good news that Red received was enough to make him elated. This was the first time a useful object would be sent to the Outside and it would greatly help them. As expected of Red, he already had a faint idea of what the object would be.
So... she was able to do it? Did she really do it? Red questioned himself a few more times as he waited for Wilder Barnes to give him more information. For a moment there, I thought my plan wouldn't be put to use. But now that she'd done it, I won't have to worry about leaving V and Scar behind.
To hint at what Red was talking about, apparently, he has one or two more contacts aside from Wilder Barnes and she's an irreplaceable ally. Red wouldn't tell the Block-16 members about it though since there might be traitors in their midst. And also, Red didn't want to risk her cover being blown. She's a double agent after all.
