"V! Are you okay?" Red immediately came up to him and shook him. Just as he thought, he was unconscious.
To everyone's surprise, V didn't even move an inch. He just stayed face down on the floor. No one even noticed when he slipped to unconsciousness since everyone was too focused on watching Scar's surgery.
It all slipped past their minds that V suffered a huge gash on the back while they were trying to escape the Exclusory humanoids. Since V was still moving around a lot, they thought it didn't affect him the least.
"Gadge, do you have extra bandages?" Red asked in a slightly panicked tone. Meanwhile, everyone gathered around V, hoping that they could be of help in return for saving Scar. Without Freckles, however, they have no idea what to do.
Of course they knew that dressing the wound was the first and foremost thing they should do but they didn't have Freckles to guide them through the process.
