"Welcome. We've been waiting for both of you..." The brushed hair woman says as she smirk.
Toki replied hastily, "Stop! Whatever you're gonna do, just stop!"
The brushed hair woman paused for a second to gasp, "Or what?" She then raised an eyebrow, "--Do you even know what we are, young girl?"
Toki was puzzled, "What do you mean? You are all the same hoarders of the dark."
The brushed hair woman chuckled, "We are way more different from those naive keychain hoarders. We are blood hoarders."
Eiji suddenly interrupts, "What's the difference? You are all the same psycho!"
The brushed hair woman switches her eyes to Eiji with a glare, "How rude. I am talking to her, not you." She then points her tiger claw to Shiro's neck, "--As a punishment, I'll start slitting this guy down."
The brushed hair woman began slitting the side of Shiro's neck, slowly, when suddenly, Toki shouted, "Wait! Tell us about the blood hoarders. We're not done talking." She then switches her eyes to Eiji, "--And shut up, Eiji! You better not make things worse! Calm down! Ok?" So, Eiji tried to shut himself, as he was told to.
The brushed hair woman paused, but her claws continued to points at Shiro's neck, "Sure... Besides, I will be killing you two today, so why not I tell you a little info before you move on to the next life. Right?" She smirked, after.
Toki and Eiji gulped. She then continued with her introduction, "The blood hoarders are an elite squad in the society of the hoarders of the dark. Only a few of us is chosen, only a few of us can pass. We are assassins like the hoarders you've faced, however, unlike those hoarders, we have no care for keychain collecting. Because after all, we already received powers."
Toki's eyebrows began to furrow, "And that power is?"
The brushed hair woman closed her eyes and smiled faintly. As she opens her eyes, she replied, "Demonic powers..." Her eyes began to turn into scarlet red and the iris is unlike any common human iris. It's more of a sharp, reptilian iris.
Toki and Eiji's head bolted upright in surprise. Toki then asked, "So... What were you after, then? If you don't collect these keychains?"
The brushed hair woman looked at them in the eyes with an intent, "The blood of my targets. I personally collect and deliver the blood of my assigned targets. That means I'll be bringing the blood of you two, as well."
Toki is starting to lose control over herself as her blood began to boil, with fists all clenched, "So... You have Shoto's blood with you? What are you even gonna do with it!? Suck that blood?? Use it for rituals??"
The brushed hair woman smirked, "Science and magic, little girl. What to do about it is none of my concern. I only deliver..."
Toki gnashed and replied angrily with a shout, "You bastards! So that's how it is, huh!? I'm going to end each and every single one of you!"
As Toki and Eiji prepared themselves to strike, the blood hoarders were about to kill Shiro Yamamoto, when suddenly, an invisible object pierced the window glass out of nowhere.
They immediately dropped their selves on the floor in response and covered their heads, after.
The brushed hair woman then gnashed, "So you have backup!? Either way, executioner will still kill your friend! Executioner, now! Executioner!?"
She immediately looked behind to see what was the executioner doing. However, she was also shocked after seeing the executioner, standing with his weapon dropped. As she slowly looked up to see his face, a big bloody hole appeared on the right side of his head.
Her eyes widen and was speechless with mouth agape. Her fists then clenches tightly, "I guess I'm gonna have to hunt someone, first. Someone I should've killed a long time ago..."
She suddenly ran and jumped out of the building through a window. Toki and Eiji got surprised. They immediately ran towards the window to look and see if where'd she go, however, they saw nothing. It's as if she quickly faded away.
Toki then said to Eiji, "Eiji, keep a look out. I'll untie Shiro."
Eiji nodded, "Understood! I'll be at the door."
As Toki untie Shiro, Eiji began hearing footsteps, coming from the hallway.
Eiji immediately shouted, "Toki! Get ready! Someone's coming!"
Eiji closed the door, but suddenly, it was foot slammed by Ryu. Eiji was pushed to the ground and was shocked when he saw Ryu on the doorstep, "Ryu!? How did you find us?"
"I had help from someone who just helped you." Ryu then looked at Shiro, "--How is he?"
"He is unconscious, for now. We'll try to wake him up." Toki replied.
Ryu then saw the executioner's dead body, "So she finally got him. The executioner. The blood hoarders are probably gonna take a break for a while, but still, be wary of your surroundings. We also need to get out of here quickly, before the locals find out."
Ryu immediately took Shiro with him, whilst Eiji and Toki, followed. Together, they rode their motorcycles away from the building.
While on the road, Toki suddenly hugged Eiji from behind, tightly. Eiji got startled from Toki's sudden behavior. So, he looked back to see what is Toki up to, however, all he saw was a sad, crying Toki. He then realized, 'She must have missed Shoto Mamuro, again...'
Eiji, then revved the motor. He sped up to try to get close to Ryu. As soon as he gets close, he asked with a shout, "Ryu!? Where are we heading!?"
"Just follow me! I'll introduce you to my acquaintance!"
Eiji nodded. Ryu then took the lead, once more.
As Eiji gazes at Ryu into the distance, he then had a thought, 'Acquaintance, huh? Is it her? That girl with a powerful bow?'
After an hour drive, they stopped at a populated place, full of apartment buildings.
Eiji's eyes widened, "Is this where she lives?"
"Wrong, this is where she hides." Ryu suddenly replied with his rough voice. "--Hoarders doesn't like populated places, such as this. Even the local police are nearby."
Eiji was astonished, "Awesome... I should keep that in mi-"
"But not for the blood hoarders. They don't care if someone sees them. They can hunt their target, and shut the witnesses down at the same time. So be very vigilant..."
Eiji shudders right after he interrupt him. Ryu then added it with fierce eyes, "Nobody can really get away from these hoarders, unless you kill your killers first..."
They climbed the stairs, all the way to the 10th floor of the apartment building. The place is crowded and the neighbors always get a glance with each other, even though it's almost midnight.
As they finally reach the door of Ryu's acquaintance, a woman suddenly opened it and welcomed them with a big smile, "Welcome, folks!"
Eiji got surprised, Toki was just bewildering, Ryu didn't even react, whilst Shiro is still unconscious. She laughed hysterically, "Haha! Come on, in." She then grabbed their arms and pulled them inside.
She prepared a tea for them. As she distributes the tea to them, Toki stares at her and her outfit. She seems uncomfortable with her outfit.
Toki then asks, "Why are you wearing like that in front of these guys?"
She got startled, "What do you mean? Is it wrong? I feel comfortable with it."
"Well, I don't, so go change your outfit and act like a real lady."
"Only if you beat me one-on-one, first." She smirked.
Toki got furious by her reply, "Why you!?"
She then looked at her with dead-fish eyes, "You're not my mom. You don't get to tell me what to do..."
Toki gnashed angrily, while the woman was just looking at her with intent. Tension between the two is starting to heat up the room.
So, Eiji interrupts and tried to calm them down, "Calm down, now. Both of you... Toki, I don't mind if she wears that. Besides, I've met her with that outfit before, so it's fine."
Toki raised an eyebrow as she looks at Eiji, "Oh? So does it mean you're done fantasizing her?"
Eiji flustered, "Fanta- What? No! It's just, let her do what she wants. Besides, we are at her place, so calm down."
"Flirty girls wears like that. Are you telling me she already flirted with you, before?"
"No! Just calm down. What were you thinking? We're not in any of these stuffs."
Toki got frustrated, "Ugh! It's just uncomfortable. Who knows which of you guys will fantasize her."
The girl giggled, "If they do, I wouldn't mind about it. After all, It's just fantasize. But touching is a different story... I'll make sure they won't get away with it. Ok?" She looked at Toki with a smug face, after.
Toki agreed, "Oh! I like the sound of that... Make sure you cut it!"
The two, suddenly get along and was agreeing and laughing with each other.
Meanwhile, Eiji gulped in the corner, 'Cut!? What do they mean by... Cut..?'
Ryu was looking at the window to see if they were followed. He did not pay any attention to their conversation, because he was just focused on their safety.
Shiro on the other hand, began to wake up.
When Eiji saw Shiro, he quickly ran up to him and asks, "Hey! Hey, are you awake? Shiro?"
Shiro then opened his eyes and looked at Eiji, "I'm sorry. Did I slowed the team, down? You shouldn't have helped me."
"It's ok, we were saved by her anyways."
Shiro's eyebrows began to furrow, "Her?" He then looked at the woman, "--Who is she?"
The woman smiled and introduces herself, "Hi there, sugar dad! My name is Asuga Rin. Nice to meet you!"
Toki immediately spits the tea she was drinking, "Sugar dad!?"
Rin laughed, "Haha! Come on, it's a joke! Unless he wants me..."
"Is this why you saved us? So you can flirt with him? Do you like him!?"
"Silly! I don't even know him. How come you are not used to jokes? Hahaha!"
Shiro and Ryu smiled a little, Eiji is trying to hold himself from laughing, whilst Toki is pissed, "Why you!?"
Toki then tickles Rin to the ground.
Eiji suddenly burst from laughing, "These two get along so easily. Haha!"
After seeing the two, Shiro sighed deeply, "I guess I'm feeling a little better now, especially when there's a live comedy here."
Toki then looked at Shiro and began to cry, "Shiro..!" She then ran towards him and hugged him tightly, "--I thought they will also take you from me... I can never live with it if I lost both of you at the same day!"
Shiro, smiled as he pats her head.
Eiji on the other hand, felt sad for Toki. After all, they lost Shoto Mamuro. Ryu then grabbed his shoulder and says,"Here, take this with you in honor of Shoto." He handed him Shoto's great buster sword keychain, "--Train with it and use it against those who hunts us. Someday, I shall give you my weapon too, if things go sideways. I'll never let anyone have this except you. So, survive. Ok?"
Eiji began to produce tears in his eyes. He sees glimpses of Shoto, as he looks down at the keychain, "Thank you, sir Ryu. I knew you would come looking for him... By the way, what happened to his body?"
"I had to burn it into ashes... Just as what we do to any dead bodies that we see. The hoarders were there to take his keychain, but I rushed in to get it for myself. Don't worry, I kept it and did not activate it. Only when turning the keychain real, makes it bound to you. So, you can use it."
Eiji looked at the sword as he stood up. He then tried to imagine the keychain into a real weapon, "Shoto, this is for you... I will always remember the lessons you taught me and the words you told me, and I shall do so with your weapon. To avenge you..."
The keychain, flashes into a bright light as it turns into a huge great sword. As it turns, Eiji's eyebrows began to furrow, "It's... Light? I thought this was heavy..."
"I guess the weight changes, depending on who its master is." Ryu replied.
Eiji began to swing the sword, when suddenly, he lost balance. He scratches his head and grin, "Never mind... It's still heavy. No wonder why Shoto trains with it, every single day..."
Toki laughed, as well as Shiro and Ryu.
Ryu replied, "But I want you to train with it just as Shoto did. It will be very useful in some occasions."
Eiji nodded, "Understood! I won't let you down. I won't let Shoto down..."
Rin then interrupts with a clap, "Well then! Let's began with the plan, on how we'll take out these hoards. Normally, I do things my way, but this time, they get aggressive and being alone won't help me anymore. Together, we should stand as one in order to survive. Eiji and Toki, I see you have potentials, but Shiro, I think I still need to know more about you."
Toki raised an eyebrow, "Oh, you haven't seen how Shiro carries the team. If Shoto is down, the next one with a big sword and could swipe a whole enemy team is no other than Shiro."
Rin laughed. She then looked at Shiro with cat eyes, "Ooohhh. I'd like to see your big sword, daddy!"
Shiro blushed. He took a moment of silence and looked away, after.
Meanwhile, Toki angrily looked at Rin, "Don't you ever hit on him! He's like a brother to me, so I'm not giving you a chance on him!"
Rin laughed as she teases Shiro, while also mocking Toki, continuously.
Eiji felt envious in the corner as he watches the three, 'I wish I was Shiro...'
Shiro then interrupts, "We should focus on the plan on how we'll survive. Surely we cannot stay here for long."
Rin replied with a grin, "Don't worry! I have couple of apartments to live with. If things go sideways here, I can contact another apartment owner."
Toki overthinks as she looks at Rin with intent, 'I wonder how'd she get those contacts? I'm sure they are male...'
Eiji asks, "But still, what's the plan? Do we hunt them or are we gonna keep running away from them?"
Ryu replied, "Only the blood hoarders are hunting us. If it's typical hoarders, then we don't have problem facing them. In this case, we should make a trap."
Eiji got confused, "A trap? To the blood hoarders?"
"Yes. Not only you guys are targets, but most especially me and Rin. So, if we act as bait..."
"Then they'll come for you instead! So, what do we do?"
"Back us up. Blood hoarders always team up with normal hoarders. If they showed up, show them how to deal with small fries. Surely you guys can handle them?"
Shiro nodded, "I'll support these two, but I'll support both of you as well if things get rough."
Toki added, "Yeah! Don't worry, we will have each other's back. I'll make sure these hoarders pay for what they did to Shoto."
Ryu smiled faintly, "Ok. That's settled then. Are you ok with it? Rin?"
Rin raised an eyebrow, "Of course. Just make sure to not get in my way, because I won't feel any pity if any of you die in the battle."
Toki smirked, "Hmp! I won't feel the same way for you too, then. Leave the pities to me, Shiro, and Eiji. Ok?"
Rin rolled her eyes down, "Whatever. Let's hope none of you three, fell on the upcoming battle."
Eiji replied confidently, "You can count on us! The three of us including Shoto in this keychain will together be the same team as we were."
Toki and Shiro smiled at Eiji. They knew that the spirit of Shoto lives on within him, and because of that, they are proud.
Meanwhile...
In the society of the hoarders of the dark, under the city of Tokyo. A black, long-haired girl with red eyes. Wielding a black katana, with its sharp edges coated in red. Wearing a long, black trench coat. Bowed down to a mysterious person with a red-jewel ring.
"Why have you summoned me?" The girl asked.
"Have you remembered your dear little sister?" The mysterious person replied.
"Yes. Did you summoned me to hunt her?"
The mysterious person smirked, "It is about time you show yourself to her. You are ready..."
"Understood. I will immediately find her."
"Bring the blood hoarders with you. I believe they still have scores to settle with."
"Understood, my elder..."
As the girl took her leave, the mysterious person smiled widely, and creepily...
