'there they go again', lia thought as she flinched at the loud ear-piercing waves of laughter in the background, increasing by the passing minute in the cafeteria. can you blame her? she is out here trying to finish her outstanding assignments but keeps on having to increase the volume of her headphones to blur out and evade the noise, but at this point, her ears will bleed if she keeps on using this as a method to counter it.
it seems as if the volleyball team won another game which explains their jolly nature. lia doesn't feel like this is a reason enough to create this convulsion. she stands up eagerly and walks towards the table where the blue head is sitting on the counter, oozing in confidence as she retells the story for the 7th time.
"so then i told her that those shorts really made her ass look good and if she could give me her number after the match so we can uhmm go shopping or something. and guess what happened, she actually blushed then yuna struck the ball right up her face cause she was caught off guard and we got a point."
the crew laughed once again and yuna even wiped her non-existent tears from her face. ryujin continued with her story to be interrupted "shin ryujin!" lia screeched with a stern face.
"choi jisu." ryujin said mockingly as she mirrored the smaller brunette with crossed arms.
lia clearly not impressed continues, "can you guys like shut up and stop being a bother to everyone here, like damn, some of us are actually trying to do something productive"
"we're just having some fun prick face, why aren't you happy we're second in the state championship cause of this match." ryujin says with agitation starting to slowly brew inside of her causing a slight increase in tone.
"firstly, i'm no prick face dimwit and plus i give no shits about your match, just lower it down."
god, ryujin hates when this happens. she hates it when lia actually has a point and when she has nothing to counter back at the older. but do you know what she detests the most ...
losing
"irritating bitch" she whispers , but loudly enough for the whole table to hear and motions with her hands that she's leaving. she stands up and lightly bumps the corner of lia's shoulder, clearly on purpose to fuel lia's disdain.
'i hate her attitude' ryujin thinks as she walks of.
'i hate her demeanour' lia internally sighs.
their relationship has always been like this, not one from the two could describe why and when it all started. it became normal, they even had fun sometimes by doing so. they both knew which buttons to press to irritate the latter.
