Chapter 2 - Chapter 2

Victoria's mother got onto her knees as she fixed Victoria's jacket. "mama, aren't you coming?" Victoria looked at her mother who stopped in her tracks and turned away "papa is waiting for you, my dear" her mother stood up letting Victoria open the door. She wondered off outside to see her father in the car with luggage taped around the car roof "papa, what's going on?" Victoria asked whilst swinging her stuffed bunny teddy around "it's a surprise" he'd say firmly, but hints of sadness glistened in his eyes "now get in the car" her father flinched for a second but got into the car shortly afterwards, Victoria on the other hand, didn't hesitate and got herself into the car.

It was some time after they left the house they ended up on the highway, "papa, why didn't mama come with us?" she'd ask innocently as she kicked her feet. "mama.." he'd pause for a second "is too ill to join us" her father finished his sentence leaving Victoria confused "but she looked fine when we left, papa?", the two then sat in silence as her father drove into the territory of a rather...Manor typed house, nurses were standing outside as if they were expecting us.

The Manor-liked house had walls like a castle would. The windows on the other hand was as big as Victoria's father and he was 6'7! The entrance had something arching over it, like a museum would, and the doors were ginormous!.

Victoria looked up to notice children about her age and older looking down onto them if they were on the top floor and straight at them if they were at the bottom, it confused her into thinking why she was there. "papa, I'm scared" She'd run over to her father clutching onto his hand for the feel of protection "it's okay, darling. Let's go inside".

They walked inside to see the children she saw on the bottom floor were still looking out the windows, her eyes wondered off onto the chandelier that was above them "why am I here, papa?" shed tug his arm clutching on more. Her father looked at her and knelt down "okay, so. You're going to stay here until you get better, until those dreams of yours stop, okay?" her father said in a rather calming but sensitive tone "but, you said mama was ill too, is she coming?" Victorias eyes lit up in excitement, a 5-year old like herself, would be excited to be anywhere with their mother's. It gives them some sort of hope. "no dear, mama is a different kind of ill to you, so she needs to go to a hospital to see a doctor. However, you need to be here. A hospital for uh" he'd pause again and looked over at one of the nurses who nodded "for you to come back home without these dreams, let's say" he looked down into the floor and stood up, Victoria let go of him as she realised what was happening, her face drained and her eyes sparkled like a puppies would when they were sad. "good-bye, dear" was his last words before he walked away and out Victorias life "no! Papa!" Victoria tried to run to him but the nurses grabbed her shoulders preventing to do so, "papa! Come back!, papa!".
