"Ow!" Haruna yelled. "I'm so sorry miss! I thought you where an intruder!" Haruna looked to see a little girl in a maid outfit. She looked very young and she had sweet blonde hair. She stood up bowing down to apologize. "Uh please don't apologies!" Haruna said. "No I must! You are now the lady of the house and I have done a very rude thing on her welcoming day!" The little girl looked like she was about to burst into tears. "It's alright it wasn't you're fault" Haruna smiled at her with kind eyes. She looks at her with hope in her eyes. "I forgot to introduce myself! My name is miss Baker but you may call me Beatrice Baker!" The little girl took Harunas hand and shook it. It was confusing how a girl her age worked as a maid. "Right I forgot my full introduction sorry my lady let me tell you who I really am!" Beatrice stepped back holding her hands together. "My name is Beatrice Baker and I will be your maid my lady" She looks at me with her dark blue eyes. "Wait so to sum everything up your going to be my maid like a personal one?" Haruna was confused. "Well of course my lady why else am I in you're room for?" She chuckled. she sighed in relief and sat on her brand new bed. She looked at every corner in the room and it was filled with lights and expensive furniture. "Hey Beatrice?". "Yes my lady what is it?". "About this whole thing can you tell me about everything in this world you guys live in?". "Well my lady if that's what you want you better sit tight and hear the story of the demons and humans". Beatrice grabs a story book and sits next to haruna opening the first page carfuly. " Years ago humans and demons use to trade with each valuable stuff for survival but as the years went by there friendship grew stronger and they became allies. King Philip of the human land and king Veros of the demon land both where great friends who would drink together happily. They even planned a wedding for king Philip's daughter Vanessa and king Veros's son Yaito to get married so they can all live in peace and harmony. Everyone around the world where excited and couldn't wait any longer. But sadly Vanessa didn't want to get married so she ran away at midnight on her wedding day. In the morning on the day of her wedding the maids found out that Vanessa was no where to be seen so the king sent all the guards to find the princess immediately. But not even the guards could find her. King Veros heard of the news and was in rage. He invited every royal demon to the wedding just to be made fun of. That's when King Veros and King Philip both went to war with each other. Humans and demons started to hate each other but the war didn't stop. It went on for seven years but the people got exhausted and didn't have enough food so what the kings did was create a peace treaty where no human and no demon will ever go to war or become friends with each other. After that happened humans forgot that demons even existed and that's where we are today!" Beatrice closed the story book. "Wow just because of a single wedding?!? How stupid are they! But the real question is where is Vanessa now?" The story was quite surprising to Haruna and she felt kind of sorry for Vanessa. "No one knows! Some people say that she got married to a peasent when she was twenty one and had a family but other people said that she got cursed by King Veros's wife and became a lost demon" Beatrice puts the book back to where it was. Haruna wonders if she will ever return. "That's right and if she does return with her family then she will be a traitor to humanity" Kaito walks in with clean clothes and food. "Master Kaito! What are you doing here this late?" Beatrice bows to Kaito. "I just need to give these to Haruna and if it's alright that I can talk to her in private" His expression was dull but handsome. "Of course master Kaito if you need anything please tell me right away" She walks out of the room in a rush not looking back. Kaito delicately put down the clothes on my bed and the food on the desk while listening to some music. Haruna wonders why he is here and if he was a Royal why wouldn't he ask the maids to do it for him. "So Haruna is it alright if you tell me about yourself and in return I'll help you with the list for tomorrow" Haruna stands up while Kaito is fixing the bedding for her and then she sits back down again. "I mean I guess so what part do you want to know about me?" Haruna hopes that he isn't going to go to far with this. "Well the things your ok with telling me" He knew that Haruna would feel uncomfortable if he said to much. Haruna sighs in relief and Kaito takes and chair and sits down on it. "Well let me see? I'm actually a high school student plus I do have great scores in my exams. When I started to grow up my memories went blury so my life is pretty dull ever since I was a kid". Kaito looked surprised. "Really?!? You lost your memories that must of had been a big rollercoaster for you to ride on" Kaito chuckles. "Yea it really is! But I don't mind I mean it must be filled with kids stuff that isn't that important" Haruna trys not to get of track with the subject. "But you have memories of your parents so why wouldn't they be important?". She stares at the floor feeling flushed. "Actually my parents died when I was a baby..." There was a awkward silence for a moment. "Well I bet your going to make great memories" Kaito smiled at Haruna making her feel safe and warm. "Mhm! I hope so!". "Anyways here take this it might save your life" Kaito hands her a book. "What is this supposed to be about?" She looked at it back to front. "Well this book tells about what us royals like and dislike so to make things clear it can tell you about our favorite food like my one is crisps and burgers and Yaitos favorite food is cakes and sweet stuff" He explained it in every detail as possible. Minutes went by Haruna and Kaito talk about the handbook and Haruna talks about her hobbys and what she likes to do in her free time. But then it was getting very late and Kaito waved her good night. Part of the time he was listening to music or the radio. Beatrice went back inside and started clean the wardrobe. While Haruna had a shower and brushed her teeth. "Miss Haruna is there anything else you want me to do?" Beatrice stands beside Haruna. "Oh no it's alright you where a great help thanks!" Haruna could feel like someone was watching her. She pretends it is just a bug or a wasp but it kept flowing through her mind. She layed down on her bed and tryed to fall asleep. Hours went by and she slept sound asleep until she woke up needing to find the kitchen. The mansion was so, big that any person could get lost in it but luckly she put a mark on some places on where she last went. She arrived at the kitchen and got a glass of milk from the freezer. Her head was very dizzy but she kept on drinking the milk until she heard a noise. Someone was definitely following her. She grabs a pan and prays for her life. That's when the figure touched her from behind and she wacked the pan on the mysterious persons head. Until they collapsed on the floor. Haruna took one look and was afraid and scared.
