With the helmet, I could see distinctly in the dark.
The roars I heard were resounding and bone chilling. Knowing this, I sort of hoped I was deaf so I could have a respite from the fear rapidly engulfing me. Of course, I was just letting my fear talk, because I would rather hear those loud roars so I could apply the "adrenaline rush", dodging fallen branches and snatching a few, storing them as I went along. I ran for my life, unwilling to give it up.
"Faster – sh*t! So slow!" I shouted, leaping from the tree, landing far below, since the boy was much lower, he had a reasonable head start, but sadly I caught up instantly as I landed. The boy, now fallen behind, followed my lead, increasing his speed.
Trying our best to escape from the among the trees, as well to continually seeking to get as far away from the ongoing fight as possible.
I cursed those students and this slow ass meat shield.
