The hour is 07:10. Jack wakes up, tied up by a rope, on a black metal chair, seeing a big floating light brown desk while being inside a huge red white and gold room with four pillars of the same color around, three big windows at the end of the room. In front of them two figures, a small shadow covers them with mystery and excitement.
This was the bosses's main office of the mansion, and the two dark figures were the bosses. Jean and Joshua.
"So... Jack..." the low voice of Joshua calls. "Apparently you are damn alive. Sadly."
The two walk with a bit of haste, showing stress and anger.
"Brother are you sure about this?" Asked Jean. "Is it really him? How can we be one hundred percent sure that it isn't just another normal robot?"
Joshua sighed. "If I wasn't so sure then I wouldn't have started a civil war just to get the attention of him."
Jean grabbed his brother's arm tightly and looked at him straight.
"Why couldn't we just have called him here? He did lose his memory from what we saw. We lost great men and women in the civil war and for what? You barely even have told me any news about him."
Joshua moves his hand away from Jean's grip.
"I needed to make sure brother. We cannot make any risks."
"Risks?! We lost almost hundreds of our people for this?!"
"We would've lost more if we wouldn't damn capture him."
"Most of my good men were lost and I have issues now with my girlfriend because of this bullshit."
"Nothing of this matters when you compare it to the fate of the entire city."
"I hope you're right. I really do."
Jack looks up at the two bosses argue, tilting his head with a confused expression.
"Uhm. Can I ask why I am tied up here? Like darn at least inform your plan like most villains do." Jack said calmly.
The two stare down at him, with anger Joshua responds, causing a scene.
"Villains?! We are NO villains Jack! How DARE you for saying such damn blasphemy!"
Joshua!" Jean cuts his brother's words. "Let the man speak. He truly doesn't know what is going on. Why is he still a captive?!"
"I didn't ask your opinion Jean, or mine, you saw the cracks on his face. How can you not damn know that it truly is our Jack. The one who holds Torment. The one who holds fa-."
Joshua gets slapped in the face by Jean quickly.
"Don't you dare say the name brother. You know the consequences."
"Then why are you still acting like this?!"
Jean sighs. "I don't know... it doesn't feel right. Nothing of this feels right."
"Then you are lost at the moment brother. Go get some rest and charge yourself up."
"And what will you do?"
"Kill him. Finish it off."
"What?! Joshua. This is wrong! He deserves judgement! We cannot go with these barbaric ways! You are not allowed to do so!"
"Don't tell me what to do and what not Jean. This is not for us. It is for our city, for our home. If you're against that then you are against your people."
"Against?! This is madness! You think killing is a true way for salvation while there is probably a different way to finish this once and for all. There is no need to spill oil on our hands! Please come to terms and reason brother!"
"Hmph. Maybe I do need some rest as well... but I don't think that there is another damn way to finish this entire thing off sadly."
"We will see."
The two shrug off while walking to each other's room. One door on the right of the office, leading to Jean's room and one door on the left, leading to Joshua's room. Both doors made of white rich wood and have a golden door knob on them.
Meanwhile, Jack has been left alone. Still tied up with confusion, excitement and a bit of relief as he has now time to think and escape.
"Darn. Left me alone... well how the hell can I get out of this place?..."
Suddenly. Torment appears from the shadows under the floating desk, giggling a bit.
"Oh wow. Never thought I'd see those stupid pirates again. Well. I got stuck inside you so what can I expect? Ha!" He floats and sits on the desk, having a big smile. "So. What is thy plan or whatever? Does it involve explosions?! Death?! Oh maybe even DRAMA?! Oh I wish!" Saying so, he jumps around like a small child getting a present for their birthday. "I can't wait to see what will happen!"
"Darn." Jack sighs, trying to get up yet barely succeeding. "You really aren't making this easier. You know?"
"What do you mean?" Torment questions while tilting his head a bit to the side, keeping the smile as he always did.
"I was living my normal life as a bar owner with my brother and now all of this shit has started to darn happen. Why? I don't know why but I know that it's YOUR damn fault somehow!"
Torment laughs. Pointing a finger at Jack while almost falling off the desk.
"Ha!" He moves his hand against his forehead, like he is removing sweat off his face. "You really are fucking stupid aren't ya?"
"What? What do you darn mean?"
"Oh please. I know it, probably everyone knows it by now but somehow you don't. Don't you want to know Jack? Oh wait of course you do!"
"Know what? What are you darn talking about?!"
"Don't you know who I am? Who you are?"
"I... what?"
"Don't you know your origin? Pirate Jack?"
