Chapter 7 - Act I. The three pirates

"It all began with three... three robots... three pirates... three brothers... three builders... the ones with eyes...

In the year 2214, July twelve. Exactly four hundred years ago. There were only three robots. The first ones to be created by Mother. The enlightened ones to be programmed to rule.

Exactly four hundred years ago they were born. Not as normal robots but as pirates. The pirates were known to wonder across the solar system with a flying pirate's ship, searching for materials and riches all over wherever they could.

For almost one hundred years they were looting across the planets. From Pluto, to Mercury. Knowing their purpose and fate from the start, as they were programmed to.

While on their journey. They met fearsome opponents. Alien races. In Earth and Mars.

The aliens were known to have white, pale skin and legs as small as one of the creatures of flesh and blood's baby's. A sharp smile with dark eyes was on their faces, with arms reaching up to ten meters in length. But however, they are not the important part for this story in any particular way. Right now at least.

After fifty years of them fulfilling their purpose that Mother told them about, they took a vow. A vow of making a better future. A future of strength as they would make more of our robotic kind exist. By taking that vow, they took off their robotic, metallic legs and replaced them with a brown, dark red, wooden legs that showed their vow as pirates.

Mother sensed the act that the three have done, making them get a curse. A punishment for not going only at the path that Mother gave them. The curse of having two eyes in the middle of their faces. The only way to hide those eyes was to have a certain kind of shell on the upper face. The three look like normal robots with no eyes as we all are yet still rumored to have them under.

They went through terror and pain to get what they needed, creating it as a big victory. They finally got all the pieces needed to colonize earth's moon, making it their own base. Building up the huge city. known as, Metasteam.

Throughout the city's construction, one of the three pirates died. No one except the two other pirates know how he perished away. Attempting to not make him not die in vain, they built the city. Each one of the two controlling half of Metasteam. One controls the east while one controls the west. Becoming known as the bosses.

The bosses' knowledge and power is known to all here, being fearsome. Anyone who would try to beat them will get punished while they have powers of the entire city.

They are also known as opposites. The one that controls the west side, the Violet side, is one who always is in his mansion, making the city more powerful.

As for the other one. The boss of the east side, the Rose side, is almost always wandering in the city. While wandering he always sees if there is anything wrong with the citizens or in the city in general. Always hoping everything is all okay and good.

But. When one of them notices something wrong with the city, or the citizens, they punish them by putting them in jail for thirty years. To resemble the punishment that Mother gave them as a symbol of power and strength that will only lead our robotic race to victory.

Doing so has lead us to peace with one another mostly. Of course there were some fights between robots here and there. But luckily, small fights or hassles don't put interest in the bosses's eyes. While they think that every robot has the right to curse, love, cry or laugh. As long as it won't get pushed too far.

Another thing is that they have a special kind of weapon. For example, I can turn my hands to to guns as I simply point with them at something. Zick has four robotic arms. Helping him in many ways. All of us robots have only one special weapon of some sort. The bosses however, have two each. It doesn't sound as much at first but it is indeed a lot more deadly, while it makes them much more powerful.

Some say that they used one crystal that was found, somewhere in Mars, to fuel their ship for almost a century, which that same crystal was used also as fuel to Mother and made the machine produce gravity and atmosphere like earth's but by making so, the atmosphere was invisible. Still showing all the stars of the universe. But one thing is that after making the gravity and atmosphere, it made all of us. And that's how we. The robots, were made.

Well, that was the tale of the three pirates. The two bosses. And the one city that is know as Metasteam."

Sam and Zick look at Jack. While the room shines brighter from the lights in it, they make a slight grin on their faces. As they do so, Sam does a bigger grin than Zick, showing that he's better than Zick even though they both are literally just smiling a bit.

Sam walks towards Jack, shrugging off with his third mechanical arm taking his cane from his hands and holds onto it.

Throughout his walking. Sam suddenly opens his hands wide open, looking like he's about to give a hug to Jack.

"Oh Jack! Your story telling is quite bloody fantastic I must say! But you wanna know something? I knew the entire bloody story from the bloody start! I just wanted to see if you remembered the bloody tale! Ha! Satisfying!"

The older brother looks at the uncle as he comes closer. With a slightly mad expression, Jack punches Sam once in the face with not much force, causing the man to laugh as he holds his monocle up.

"Darn Cunt. Telling me lies."

"Sorry." He begins to crack up, almost crying from laughter if he had eyes. "I couldn't bloody stop myself! So bloody funny..."

Zick also looks at Sam, with a bit of an angered expression as well. He thinks that Sam makes fun of his big brother, Jack, while wanting to punch Sam too just so he could shut up and at least say that the two engineers are equal in their work quality skills.

Sam stares at Zick. Pointing his cane at him, making the younger brother feel a bit nervous as the uncle walks slowly towards Him while speaking.

"I know what you are bloody thinking right now, Zick. That if your big brother has landed a hit on me, then maybe, you could bloody land one on me too, but remember at who's house you are bloody staying in for now. I don't take hits like those lightly usually, so don't think you are a bloody saint. Hear me? Good."

Zick frowns, slowly looking down at the floor, a bit of anger is still expressed on his face. With one of his four mechanical spider arms, scratching his head while wanting to shout at Sam for what he said and how he asks.

But remembering that they live in a building with a hated, figure to him, someone that they need to be depended on. Zick covers his face with the spider arm that scratched his face a moment ago.

Jack looks at his younger brother. A worried expression rises on the older brother's face while a frown gets on him, making Jack walk fast to his little brother and put his hand on Zick's shoulder. Holding his brother's shoulder firmly.

Staring at his Zick. he talks to him calmly as the worried brother that he is.

"Hey now Zick... I know that you won't like it but hey. Remember what I always used to darn tell you? Every drink you get makes you get used to it and grow onto it. And if not then at the end, you just finish the bottle and throw it away, making sure you finished with it and that the taste stays in you. Hopefully to change your thought about it or hopefully not."

Zick lowers his spider arm, smiling for a split second. While doing so, Jack continues to talk to his upset little brother as a caring big brother.

"Hey. Want to go a minute outside and let all your darn tension out? Here. I'll even open the door for you if you'd like."

Zick mumbles quietly for a bit, as his face still faces the floor.

"N-no... it's fine... nothing of it is yer fault Jack. I'll go outside myself... no need for ya to open a door for me."

"Oh. Okay then Zick. Just don't darn do anything weird while you're out there. Okay?"

"Ye-yeah. I won't. Don't worry Jack. I-I'm f-fine... I'll just go outside for a minute now. I'll enter when I'm done."

Zick walks slowly towards the door and opens it as coldness surrounds The younger brother out of the two. While so, Jack stares at him close the door. Sam sits on the stage, smoking his brown, wooden pipe while all this happened. The uncle coughs a bit, which draws Jack's attention to him.

He moves towards Sam, with his arms flailing as he talks loudly.

"Darn it Sam! What did you do?!"

"What do you bloody mean, what did I do?! I was just acting all cozy and nice here and then you two came in here and brought a lady here that tried to sell us to the bloody boss of Rose! What would you expect from someone like me to bloody do huh?!"

Jack points his finger up to Sam in the same time that they both stand close to each other, looking each other in the face.

"Yeah I know that you are darn angry at us but fuck's sake. Don't put darn weight on Zick. He is going through more than us right now. Believe me. Please, leave him be and don't be dominant on him. A favor that I ask. Could you darn do it tho?"

Sam stares at him, then stares at the front door, with an exhausted expression. A big sigh as he says the next sentence.

"Ugh... fine. For a change I won't laugh at your little brother for fun anymore... no matter how bloody angry he gets too."

"Really?"

While Jack says so. Excitement starts to cover his voice and the expression of his face gets more and more noticeable.

"Yeah I am bloody real with you. Now if you really want to, you can call your brother to here. He has been a bloody long time outside hasn't he?"

Jack looks at the door with the same growing expressions.

"You're right. I should darn check on him at least to make sure nothing happened."

"Yeah. Bloody go at it. I'll just, be sitting here, waiting for you two."

Jack shines with joy, walking fast to the front door, opening it.

He opens the door, calling for his brother. But after opening the door, he gets filled with shock and the sudden joy and positive excitement goes away from what he saw.

Jack noticed that Zick is being carried as hostage on a flying, dark wooden, horse carriage, ten meters above the ground.
