Elliot went out of the dining hall as it was another side of the residence that welcomed an open porch; he had a glass of wine, taking his time to swirl it. The clinking sound of ice worked wonders to his ears like chimes as he delved his thoughts throughout the night.
"Aren't you the celebrant? Why are you here?"
He turned around and watched Anasthasia, strutting with a tankard in her hands.
"You're drinking way too much."
She stopped as soon as she was right beside him and took a glimpse of the starry sky. "There's no such thing as too much for any juice, Elliot."
From a close distance, he could smell its tangerine scent that wafted on his nose. They stood in deep silence, and the loud commotions, erupting from inside, started to muffle.
"A penny for your thoughts?"
He hummed in response, "Something trivial."
