Dawn came sooner than what Anasthasia expected; she squirmed on the warm lilac quilt as the rays beamed her face. She sat upright as she was unable to tolerate its warm greetings. Her eyes fixated at the lush green pasture blanketed the plain fields taking a glimpse by the window.
'Right, I'm now back at Millard's Residence. It sure was a tough night.'
After freshening herself up, she strutted the hallway and met Blake, who plucked the cuff of his beige leather greatcoat. He stood a few feet away from the entrance with the head butler attending to his needs.
"You're awake, so early." Blake arched his neck, seeing her descend from the staircase. Initially, he squinted his eyes in hostility but sighed in defeat. "You must have been so tired; you should take a rest."
