Throughout the event, the three of them took a while to enjoy tonight. Anasthasia, as usual, got a glass of lemonade and took a sip as she sized her surroundings.
"I feel uneasy," she muttered with glass close to her mouth.
"You might want to calm yourself."
"Don't get too chummy with me, Elliot," Anasthasia retorted as she rolled her eyes. She shifted her body in the direction of Brenov. "Was he always like this? Does he treat you like this?"
"No, Miss Ana. He is rather reserved and collected. He either nods or shakes his head, withal doesn't talk too much with the instructors, more so with me."
"I see."
Elliot snorted and lightly swirled his wine glass. "Do you feel uneasy because the mana density isn't rich and profound here?"
"Not that. I'm amazed how it's always the noble estates that have the highest gradient, and it decreases when it's found in common and crowded areas—like the main street and the slums."
