Inside a grey room adorned with all sorts of posters, two figures sat discreetly in front of a gaming PC, their eyes twinkling in excitement. Swiftly moving his slender fingers, all sorts of noises could be heard coming out of the computer, making them grip tightly on their seats.
Before long, the bright screen shone with vivid words, in bold and red in color, that spelled 'VICTORY'.
Upon seeing the flashing words, the smaller figure jumped from her seat in joy as she exclaimed, "You're the best, brother!" with a chirpy little voice before embracing the older boy afront her.
The bright screen covered the boy's complexion, but one could tell that he was brimming in joy and satisfaction. Turning his head to face the doe-eyed girl embracing him, a gentle expression surfaced from his naturally indifferent facade, highlighting his brilliant yet aloof features even further.
But before long, the gentle smile he had on dispersed as the girl removed herself from the embrace, leaving him in an awkward position. She then sat afront the PC and saw her current ML ranking shining in lustrous gold.
'RANK 1'
Glancing back between the boy and the screen, the girl laughed in irony as she thought how foolishly cute this brother of hers was. She glanced towards the time located on her PC and loudly yawned for her brother to hear.
"Brother, it's getting late now, I want to sleep." She sheepishly murmured in a slurred voice, whilst turning on the rabbit-shaped night light. The boy revealed a smile yet again as he kissed her forehead before leaving, muttering a "good night."
The door slowly closed as the dim light was no more, renewed with complete darkness. If one were in a normal situation, they would come to the conclusion that the girl was sound asleep. But this girl wasn't an ordinary girl at all.
Instead, she is the number one player on the famed MMORPG game, BxB (Blood x Battlefield).
BxB is a game that could be accessed through multiple measures ranging from a run of the mill mobile phone all the way to a VR headset. And as expected, most people chose the option of the VR headset as it was most exhilarating of them all.
But the girl with the username; 'Brother'sThickThigh' used nearly all the optional devices as she could only play discreetly, under the watchful eyes of her dear brother.
She didn't want to ruin her image of the cute little sister just yet, at least, until she graduates from elementary, that is.
Well, aside from the fact that she's adopted and can't really reveal her roguish personality in front of her kind foster parents, along with the enjoyment of receiving a ton of benefits.
And thus, seeing that her brother had left, she locked the doors and closed the cloud-shaped curtains, before putting on her headset.
The table was situated far from her bed as she had to walk there to reach her computer as her bedroom was massive, literally. A pure white Queen sized bed, a separate walk-in closet, a fancy white bathroom, heck her room even consisted of her own private gaming desk, couple with 3 of the most costly gaming PCs.
Turning on the PC, she swiftly logged in her BxB account as she munched on a cake she took out from the nearby snacks compartment. Putting a spoonful in, she stuck her tongue out before muttering in an indescribable voice.
'Being rich does indeed have its benefits and disadvantages.'
And that liability was that she had to sacrifice her freedom and personality.
But at least, she received a doting older brother who can support her for life, not that she wished for it.
