"Your next professor had an emergency, therefore, enjoy your free time." Mrs. Laurah announced and left afterwards.
"Zyne! Let's go to the Evergarden!"
Zhyrine looked at Yuki who's beaming in excitement.
"Evergarden?"
"Mm-m!" Yuki nodded "It was built exclusively for Elite members, it's so pretty there! I heard they added a pond yesterday and there's fishes too!"
"Whoa! I wanna see!!" Zhyrine exclaimed, her eyes twinking in excitement.
Zyco stood up from his seat "Let's go." he stated.
Zhyrine and the Elite members made their way to the Evergarden. Zhyrine blinked as she saw the Elite garden Yuki mentioned. It was the open space where she met Zyco!
"This is where I met Z!"
"You've been here Zyne?" Yuki asked, Zhyrine nodded vigorously.
"I got lost on my way to the toilet then I ended up here. But it looks different now! Look there's the pond!" Zhyrine exclaimed and pointed towards the pond at the corner of the garden. She ran to the area like a child with a huge grin in her lips.
Zyne squatted for a clearer view at the fishes. Her eyes held amusement as she watched them. She dipped her hand in the water and the fishes came towards her, tickling her hand, making Zyne giggle.
On the other hand, the members of The Elites sat below the shade of the tree where there are chairs and benches. Zyco's gaze was placed upon Zhyrine and the others looked at Zyco with eyes full of questions.
"Zyco."
He turned his gaze to Aries.
"What's the deal with Zyne? You interact with her as if you know her." he asked.
"I don't like that girl." Loki commented.
"I don't also get why you acted so protective of her against Kristine. I mean sure, Kristine is an obsessive and crazy girl but why would you care if she hurts Zyne?" Chain added.
"I have my reasons." he replied shortly, adding more confusion among them but they didn't push anymore.
Zyco has been like their leader. They know he never makes bad decisions and have reasons for every unexplainable thing he does. He's an unreadable person but they trust him.
"So are we like going to be friends with her?"
Loki looked at Chain with disgust "What? Friends? Are you kidding me?"
"Let her stick around. There's also something I want to find out." Hathor spoke.
"Me too." Titus added.
"She's definitely strange, she looks dumb because of her childish personality but I was surprised awhile ago. Yuki also said that she has photographic memory like Zyco, she must be smart then but why act like that? Is she faking it?" Rue remarked.
Silence enveloped upon them. Their gazes were focused on Zhyrine and Yuki who's playing in the pond.
"You're all keen, soon you will all find out." Zyco spoke and they looked at him.
"Now i'm curious…" Loki uttered.

Fews weeks passed and the test that Veinlourd University conducts every month came. Having the students take the test helps the committee to monitor the student's growth and enhance the areas they don't excel.
The first month test will also determine the classes the student needs to attend.
Mrs. Laurah, the class adviser, walked in with a stack of papers between her arms. She roamed her gaze around the room to see if everyone was present. Carrying the test papers, she distributed them one by one to each student.
"You have two hours to answer. Every subject has 30 questions, no toilet breaks and I trust you all to be honest." Mrs. Laurah spoke with a strict tone.
"You may now start."
Zhyrine picked her pen from her desk and stared at the questions. Two hours? She could answer them within 10 minutes. But it would raise suspicion so she decided to leave the last question and wait for someone to complete first.
30 minutes passed and Zyco placed his pen on his desk. Zhyrine glanced at him and answered the last question right away.
"Also, the top 10 rank list of this test will be posted at the bulletin board. I hope nothing changes." she stated with a meaningful glance upon the Elite members.
All of the Elite members studied at Veinlourd since middle school, they were the consistent top 10 on the rank list furthermore they have their gorgeous looks making them popular among the students. As a result, they were given the title The Elites.
The school committee always had high expectations of them and they wanted the students to look up to these men and be inspired to become like them so they give exclusive privileges to the Elite members, like exclusive house, garden, etc.
However, that's not only the reason. The Elite members were sons of major contributors of the University and their parents hold high positions in society making them hold higher power than the other students.
Few minutes passed after Zhyrine, most of the students were done and all completed the test before the given time.
Mrs. Laurah collected their paper "As expected Astatinians. You may now take your break." she bid and left.
"I'm hungry already." Yuki whined.
"You're always hungry." Aries interjected.
Yuki pouted "Meanie."
"Childish." Aries hissed.
"Stupid Banana!" He insulted Aries' blonde hair.
"You brat!"
Aries was about to stand up but Chain pulled his collar making him forcefully sit back "Don't fight, you're not Rue." Chain spoke and Rue who heard what he said fumed.
"You're picking a fight playboy?" Rue threatened while cracking his fist.
"I'm just joking! Geez…" Chain said in a defending tone.
"You all sure are confident."
The Elite members tilted their head towards the voice. It was one of their classmates, a guy with brown hair that sat in the front seat.
"Huh?" Rue sneered.
"Not because you're all in the top means you will all stay in the top. Someone might just fall." He spoke in a ridiculing tone and glanced at Harris' direction before going back to his seat.
"Kevin Trevor, age 17. Placed 11th during the examination last year. Family owns one of the recent top restaurants in the nation, who rivals the Warnon Family thus thinks Harris as his own rival." Hathor stated.
"Tch, 11th huh? He can't even beat Fiona." Rue ranted.
"Ignore him, he just lacks attention." Titus patted Harris's shoulder who held worried expressions.
"I know, it's just...his words may be right. The gap between Fiona and me at the last exam was just 1.38, a little bit push and she might have gotten my place."Harris spoke in honesty making the others speechless.
"Then you just have to study more." Zhyrine suddenly interjected. Their gaze went to her.
"Don't make it sound so easy." Chain sighed.
"I didn't say it's easy. For others, studying is hard but stressing over an unofficial criticism is harder. Your prefrontal cortex shrinks when you're stressed and it will affect your memory and ability in learning so just study, nothing more, nothing less." Zhyrine stated plainly.
"So you know about the function of the prefrontal cortex but you don't know what playboy means?"
"That's different." Zhyrine pouted.
