Jealousy. What is jealousy? To some- it 's an emotion that defines someone being envious , to some it's a feeling of fear of being inferior, and to some fear of losing a value relationship or the sudden emotion of possessiveness.Jealousy makes you helpless, anxious and an unknown fear of losing someone or something to some you rival.
That's what had happened with Damien. Before he could make things right, he lost the sane part of himself, and ended up hurting Vaidehi unknowingly.
And when he realised, it was already too late. Vaidehi was already hurt with the way he treated her previously and has not forgiven him and now this was added to the list.
He cursed under his breath looking at Vaidehi's retreating back.
He messed it up.AGAIN!
He ranked his hand on his hair and groaned.Ashton ,who was walking by, saw Damien in the dark and he instantly walked toward him.
"Is everything okay?" He asked with a worried look on his face.
"I messed up." Damien clenched his jaw and looked down in helplessness.
"Oh, you mean to say you messed it up again." Ashton's eyes narrowed into slit.
"Yea that!" He turned toward Ashton and replied with a straight face.
Ashton let out a sarcastic laugh before looking at him, "And this time I won't help you to redeem yourself."
He looked at him one last time before walking away.

It was finally the day of the party. Damien was restless from the last two days because that was the last time he had seen Vaidehi , who by the way ignored his presence like she ignores people who hate chocolates. After that incident she totally ignored him. Ignored him to an extent that she ended up packing her bag and stayed over at her bestfriends house. And not just that, her growing friendship with David irked him to an extent he couldn't explain. He ran his hand through his hair and realized he messed up his hair style, and groaned internally.
Venue hall was all set and even though he hated David but, this guy did a pretty good job.
The hall was decorated in fairy with a twist theme. With baby pink lilies and fairy lights on either side of the staircase railing that was situated in the middle of the hall and the big victorian style chandelier gave the feel of fairy tale, while the bar and the small area that lead to stage gave the touch of modernity.
Damien looked around the hall but there was no sign of Vaidehi. Party was to start and the guest of honour - Marie with her team members would be arriving soon and Damien was stressed about not finding her anywhere near.

In Rithika's house.
Vaidehi looks at herself in the mirror. The matted red bodycon mermaid dress with lace work on either side of her waist and sweetheart neckline. The dress had a cold shoulder, a thin strap attached to her shoulder followed by a bishop sleeve made of net giving it an elegant ,sleek arm gloves look.
Rithika has styled her hair by making a bun leaving a few strands of hair in front.
"You look stunning! He won't be able take his eyes off you!" Rithika squealed and clapped her hands in excitement.
"Don't overthink! I don't care what he thinks about me anymore." Vaidehi rolled her eyes and struck a few strands of her hairs behind my hair.
"Oh sure. Keep telling that to yourself." Rithika turned Vaidehi towards the mirror and smirked.
"Now,now. Keep quiet and let me set your hair." Rithika said and smacked her head lightly.
Setting her hair one last time , Rithika looked at Vaidehi in adoration.
"You look like a princess." She squealed and held Vaidehi by her shoulder and shook her in excitement.
"Stop shaking me you over excited chipmunk!" She glared at Rithika and before walking out from the main door. A car was waiting to take her to the venue. She sat inside the car and waved at Rithika before the car speeded toward the venue.

Damien sat on the bar stool and dialed Vaidehi number, it kept ringing before the call got disconnected.
He groaned in annoyance and rediald her number and looked around helplessly. It was already late and the party had already started ,but there was no sign of Vaidehi. Room was filled with people and the owner of ShinIn was about to arrive at any moment.
He ran his hand through his hair as the call disconnected again. Suddenly, his eye fell on the entrance of the venue hall and his breath stopped for a second. She stood at the entrance, wearing matte red mermaid style red dress and her hair made in a messy bun with few strands of her hair caring her face. She looked breathtaking. His heart suddenly began to race as his eyes connected with hers.
Time stopped and heart raced with the beat of an unknown emotion they both couldn't understand.
Her innocent brown bambi like eyes clashed against his mysterious onyx one.
His feet slowly took him to the entrance-where she stood looking no less than a disney princess.
With each step their distance decreased and the heart beat fastened.
"Vaidehi." He whispered as he stood in front of her, looking at her as if she would vanish if he blinked his eyes. Before they both could get a chance to talk with each other , the sound of cars bought them out from their reverie.
Vaidehi turned her head and gasped looking at the woman who just got out of the car.
Dressed in a tight black bodycon dress with a deep v-neck ,she looked nothing but a seductress. Suddenly Vaidehi felt insecure about herself. She frowned when she saw Marie Watson make her way toward them with a big smile plastered on her face showing her pearl white teeths.
Vaidehi fisted her hand as she saw Marie smile at Damien flirtatiously.
Keep smiling that way and your teeth will fall off! She thought to herself as she saw Marie made her way to Damien ignoring her presence.
Her jaw clenched in anger as she saw Damien walk toward Marie without acknowledging her presence. Feeling hurt and insecure about herself , Vaiehi made her way to the main hall where the party was being held. On her way she met David.
"Oh, hey Vaidehi!" He called startling her.
"Wow!" She placed a hand on her heart and tried to calm herself before turning toward David and gave him a polite smile.
David's eyes went wide looking at Vaidehi. He gaped at her from head to toe.
Vaidehi felt slightly uncomfortable with the way he was looking at her, he then raised his head and placed his hand on his heart and said in a very dramatic way," You, milady has dressed to kill! Are you planning to kill me today by your looks?"
Vaidehi let out a soft laughter before replying a faint thank you. She awkwardly looked around when David offered to take her inside to the main hall where the party was being held.
"You really look beautiful today." David said they walk toward the hall anward of an angry pair of onyx eyes following them.
Vaidehi being Vaidehi, rolled her eyes at the compliment and looked at David, " If you don't stop throwing compliments my way, I might just push you out of that building!"
David looked startled for a second before he composed himself as he heard Vaidehi laugh.
"You really thought I would push you?" Vaidehi said, trying to control her laughter.
"No, I thought-" His words were cut off when they heard soft music played in the big hall and somewhere already dancing with their partners.
Vaidehi let out an audible gasp looking at the scene in front of her.
"You liked it?" David asks her in a soft voice.
"Like it? I loved it!" She let out a squeal and entered inside the hall with David in tow, unaware of the burning pair of angry onyx eyes that followed her every move.

Damien sat on the bar stool and held a glass of whiskey in his hand as his eyes followed a certain pair of soft brown eyes all around.
In that red dress dress she looked nothing but a princess.
His jaw clenched when he saw the hungry and lusty look in some men's eyes as she passed through them to greet others.
And now he was burning in jealousy as he saw her laugh with David.
(I just heard you found the one you've been looking
You've been looking for
I wish I would have known wasn't me)
His senses were filled with jealousy when he saw Vaidehi with David.
He held the glass in a tight grip and eyes were filled with emotions he couldn't name.
His thoughts were consumed by that one crazy girl he met a few months ago.
Yes, he made many mistakes in the past but right now why can't she just forgive him for one and give a chance to prove his worth. He thought to himself.
('Cause even after all this time, I still wonder
Why I can't move on
Just the way you did so easily)
He looked at her and saw that she threw her head back and laughed at something David was telling her.
He didn't like it at all, he didn't like the closeness these two were sharing.
He wanted to be the sole reason for the pretty smile that lit his dark world.
(Don't wanna know
Kind of dress you're wearing tonight
If he's holding onto you so tight
The way I did before)
His eyes then fell on her dress, the way she held the end of the long gown like a princess.
He then noticed the spark in her brown eyes that was twinkling with a spark in the golden thing of the hall.
He turned his head, suddenly unable to control his emotion that he felt for her.
(I overdosed
Should've known your love was a game
Now I can't get you out of my brain
Oh, it's such a shame)
He closed his eyes and was unable to hold his emotions at bay.
Even with his eye close, the only thing he could see was her.
Her laughter, how adorable she looked while she talked with herself and the way she scrunched her nose when she saw something that annoyed her.
Suddenly, she was the queen, who had consumed his mind and soul.
(That we don't talk anymore
We don't talk anymore
We don't talk anymore
Like we used to do)
He opened his eyes and looked at her way to communicate but the scene was enough to hurt and hurt him in jealousy.
Vaidehi was dancing with David in the romantic song that was being played in the background.
He realised that they are not on talking terms anymore. He suddenly wants to leave the party , but not without kidnapping the reason for his distress, who was busy dancing with a stranger she met a few weeks ago.

(I just hope you're lying next to somebody
Who knows how to love you like me
There must be a good reason that you're gone)
Vaidehi was dancing with David when she turned her head and looked over David's shoulder only to be hurt by the scene that was unfolding in front of her.
Damien sat on the bar stool and along with him was Marie.
Damien sitting and laughing along with Marie didn't bother her, what bothered her was the way Marie held Damien and was whispering something in his eyes.
Suddenly, she wanted to do nothing but to leave the party. She gulped a lump that formed in her throat.
(Every now and then I think you might want me to
Come show up at your door
But I'm just too afraid that I'll be wrong)
How she wished that things were different between them. Yes, she was hurt but she didn't want Damien to give up on her. On this beautiful relation that they had.
In the past few weeks, there wasn't a single day when she didn't want to talk to him.
His thoughts were the only thing that was revolving around her head.
(Don't wanna know
If you're looking into her eyes
If she's holding onto you so tight
The way I did before)
She didn't like the way he was looking at Marie and laughing with her.
She wanted him to look at her way, she wanted him to fight for her, for them, for this unnamed relation that they had.
(I overdosed
Should've known your love was a game
Now I can't get you out of my brain
Oh, it's such a shame)
She wanted to know what he was hiding, what is that secret that was burning and killing him in helplessness.
If only he didn't do what he did, things would have been different.
This invisible distance between them was killing her and she felt helpless.
She felt helpless seeing him in pain.
She would do anything to bring that carefree Damien she saw during their food fight.
But then she realised that they are not on talking terms.
Her chest burned with a heaviness and excruciating pain as she saw Damien and Marie now ancig in the soft romantic music.
(That we don't talk anymore
We don't talk anymore
We don't talk anymore
Like we used to do)
