Vaidehi stilled at his request. Her body as if having mind of it own, leaned against him. And she turned her head to look at him properly. Two words held so much of emotion, so much of vulnerability and fear that it shook Vaidehi. And the way tears glistened his eyes , she knew something was definitely wrong with him.
"I am sorry." He whispered.
Vaidehi didn't answer, but waited for him to continue.
"I have always been the center of your problem. Be it hurting you, or be it the reason of someone else hurting you. I–I have never given you any happiness, Vaidehi." He continued.
Vaidehi tried hard to fight back the tears that was ready to flow. She never thought she would see him like this. She wanted to oppose him, tell him that he shouldn't blame himself. But no words came out of her mouth.
