"Are you searching for Vaidehi ?"Rithika teased when she say Damien looking here and there. Something else she noticed was ,he looked scared and worried. Not wanting to be too obvious about it, she sat next to him after getting him a glass of water.
"Drink this , you look as if you were just chased my a dinosaur." She laughed as she handed him a glasses of water. He mutter a small 'thank you' with a smile and gulped it in a go.
"All okay between you and Vaidehi?"As soon as the word was out from Rithika's mouth, Damien froze. He didn't answer, but kept the glass on the table before facing her.
"I–I don't know." He whispered, and his face held pain and helplessness along with hint of fear.
Rithika ear perked up as soon as she hear his answer. She narrowed her eyes and looked at him as if he had committed a heinous crime.
