Vaidehi pulled herself away from Damien and stood up abruptly as if his touch has burned her.
He looked at her with hurt filled yes, as if can't believe that this was actually happening.
"You need to go." She stood up and whispered, turning her back towards him.
He just nodded absentmindedly and stood up with shaky steps. He wiped his tears with the back of his hand.
"So it's really a goodbye then?"He had a bitter smile on his face, his eyes red and brimmed with unshead tears.
"I have no answer to your question,Damien." She found it hard to stop. Her heart felt like, it going to bust any second.
"Ju–just take care of yourself , Vaidehi. "He said and looked down, and a lone tear rolled down cheeks.
It literally took one second to destroy every good thing he had. He was ashamed, and filled with guilt. He felt like a loser . All he wanted to do now is scream at Vaidehi, tell her not to do this, plead her to punish him some other way, anything but not this.
