"NO!" Thirío shouted in a panic. He then desperately dashed towards us at his top speed.
Thirío swiftly grabbed Terrifaísteio's arm and said, "What is the meaning of this?"
With the orb still in her hands, Terrifaísteio immediately twisted her body and kicked him away.
"My king...?" Armando said out loud.
"Yeah, take care of that." I said to him.
"Yes my king!" Armando said as he slowly approached Thirío, who was still in the air, recovering from the kick.
He cracked his knuckles as he confidently walked towards Thirío.
"Mistress please, you don't have to do this. We can still kill him together!" Thirío cried out.
"Shut up! I have made my decision." Terrifaísteio said sternly. She then once again presented her soul to me in the form of the flaming orb she held.
"I can't let this happen!" Thirío said preparing to attack again.
"You're dealing with me now." Armando said then suddenly appeared in front of Thirío.
'He's fast!' Thirío thought, alarmed by Armando's speed.
Armando then grabbed his face and smashed his head into the ground. Armando stood above Thirío and looked at him with a murderous glare. He coated his hands in purple lightning, then began to repeatedly punch Thirío's face.
His lightning seemed to now have a decaying effect as Thirío's face began to wither away. Each strike broke apart Thirío's once symmetrically structured face.
(BOOM!)
Armando's fist suddenly went through Thirío's head and smashed the ground beneath him. He tried over and over again to punch him, but his fists could no longer make contact.
"You fool, you can't kill me. Hahaha...!" Thirío said with a victorious laugh. He then kicked Armando back causing him to slide back a few meters back.
At that same moment, the tailed Lilith came into view from the side. She was dragging by the horn what looked like a giant red dragon behind her. She left the dragon behind and appeared next to Terrifaísteio and I.
"What's going on?" The tailed Lilith asked.
"Just a little trouble with that one over there." I said pointing at Thirío.
"Forget that though. Where the hell have you been?" I asked her.
"Oh my gooosh! So, I got bored waiting around for everyone to wake up and eventually started talking to Thirío. He began to tell me about this planet and its millions of dragons.
After that, I immediately flew around the planet in search for the biggest one I could find. 2 days ago, I accidentally butted heads with that one back there." The tailed Lilith said then pointed at the massive red dragon she left behind.
"It really shocked me when I saw it at first. I actually hurt my head when I bumped into it." The tailed Lilith said making a pouting facing.
"After seeing its size, I immediately knew it was the perfect dragon to keep me busy. I tried to tame it for a while, but the thing proved to be too stubborn. It's like it had a death wish.
Unfortunately, it ended up bleeding out and died on me before it could submit. So, I brought it back here for BBQ instead." The tailed Lilith continued to say with excitement.
"Well, that's a shame. It would have been cool to have a dragon like that around." I said to her.
"Riiiight? I was thinking, I would look even better with a-." The tailed Lilith began to say before being cut off.
"RRRAAAAAAAAHHHH!!!!" Thirío unleashed a murderous power with a deafening roar.
An intense pressure then descended upon everyone around, even Terrifaísteio.
"He dares to use the King's Roar on me!" Terrifaísteio gasped.
"Great Monarch, take it, quickly!" Terrifaísteio shouted with haste, urging me to take the soul she presented before me.
'I can't move!' I thought to myself with a look of shock.
"The roar, it affected my body somehow!" I said out loud.
"Why am I shaking?' I thought to myself as I looked at my trembling hands.
Thirío swiftly charged at me with his fist in the air. All his remaining energy was gathered into this one last attack. Power quickly gathered on his fist as he approached. He intended to completely destroy me under the might of this power.
(BOOM!!)
Thirío was now right before me. He thrust his fist forward, aiming for Grayson's face. Everything seemed to be drawn into that fist. The power behind it dominated everything around it. Space itself seemed to tremble in its approach.
Suddenly, the fist was brought to an abrupt stop after it collided with something solid. Just like that, Thirío was stopped. Seeing all that menacing power suddenly disappear was a weird sight to see.
"You don't get to attack him when we're clearly having a conversation." The tailed Lilith said as she held Thirío's fist, feeling rather annoyed for being cut off so abruptly.
Thirío tried to break off the hold, but to no avail. Perhaps it was because he had used up his energy and didn't have enough left to break free, but no matter how much strength he exerted, he could not break free from the tailed Lilith's hold.
The tailed Lilith then tossed him aside as though he were a doll.
"You fools! You are all going to die for what you have done. I will be sure to let Thanatos know of everything that has happened here. Only death will await you then. I will shit on your corpses and watch the beasts sl-." Thirío began to rant in a panic before being cut off.
"Damn, shut the fuck up." The tailed Lilith said annoyed then kicked him to the ground. She then stepped on his back and watched him struggle.
"Now then." I said with a satisfied smile, finally taking the flaming orb that Terrifaísteio had been trying to offer. The familiar power of a reaper then naturally began to flow within me. It merged with my body as though it were coming back home.
"NOOOOO!" Thirío screamed as he struggled to get up. However, try as he might, he couldn't rise even an inch off the ground.
"You...how? How are you so strong?" Thirío asked still struggling.
He had never felt like this before. A new emotion began to creep from deep within him...
'The fear of a prey!'
"I just am." The tailed Lilith answered as if it was always obvious.
She then proceeded to grab his head with both her arms. A foreign power ran through his body and into his tail. Thirío felt like the tailed Lilith was now in full control of his destiny.
However, the more the power ran through him, the more familiar it became.
"Wait, I remember you now. You? You-." Thirío tried to say.
"Tailed Lilith, wait!" I quickly shouted.
"I can't believe I thought you were cute." The tailed Lilith said coldly then…
(SNAP!)
The tailed Lilith swiftly broke his neck, killing him instantly.
She then turned around and began to walk back casually.
"As I was saying, I was thinking I would look even better with a whip whilst riding a dragon, don't you think?" She said casually.
"Thirío?" Terrifaísteio called out with a cracked voice. She could no longer sense his soul.
"Thirío!" She called again, but louder.
"I told you to wait." I said to the tailed Lilith.
"You can do what you want with him once he wakes up." She said to me.
"He won't wake up." I said to her.
"What do you mean?" She asked then turned around.
"What the-!" She said in shock then quickly looked back at Thirío's corpse.
"He's dead." I said.
"No, that's impossible…we can't die right?
Even though I can touch his body, the only ones who have the power to kill helpers are Thanatos and Theós alone.
Livía-, Livía said so!" The tailed Lilith said with a stutter, unable to believe she killed him.
"No need to panic so much, what's happened has happened. There's nothing we can do about it now." I said to her as I placed my hand on her shoulder.
'Another enigma!' I thought to myself.
As this occured, a connection was being made between me and all of Terrifaísteio's shadows on this planet. I began to see and hear the natives of this planet. A majority of these rocky beings lived underground as all kinds of fire breathing beasts and creatures inhabited the surface.
An incredibly wide network of tunnels ran down from the surface to the underworld of these rocky beings. These tunnels ran down dozens of miles below the surface of the planet.
Although the creatures looked like they were made of rock., they had the properties of a slime. They were capable of transforming their flexible bodies into various complex shapes.
Since the tunnels were impossibly small for any creature to navigate through, if you weren't these rock slimes, it is impossible to reach the underworld.
These creatures could merge with different elements and become one with them. By doing this, they were able to completely transform the landscape and build complex structures.
"Fotiá, that's the name of this planet." I said out loud.
As my knowledge and power continued to increase, Terrifaísteio shot a complex look towards the tailed Lilith.
"Hm? You got a problem with me?" The tailed Lilith asked after sensing Terrifaísteio's gaze. Terrifaísteio then diverted her gaze back to me and said nothing. Naturally, a reaper would form a bond with their helper, after being together for so long, and Terrifaísteio just watched her helper get murdered.
Thirío may have been impulsive and reckless, but he was still the closest thing to a family that Terrifaísteio had ever know; the only being that she had ever formed a bond with.
Even though her loyalties were now tied to me, 2,000 years growing together with someone couldn't be forgotten. The killer of her helper stood just a few steps away and all she could do was clench her fists and supress the vengeful rage that dwelled deep within her.
"Interesting planet." I said out loud as an overwhelming death aura radiated off of me. My power continued to rise as I now became the ruler of a planet with over 60 billion inhabitants. The death aura covered the entire planet, as if announcing the rise of a new king.
Feeling the pressure, Armando kneeled down towards me. The death aura was leaking off my body without my knowing.
"Neat power...." The tailed Lilith said out loud.
Her brown, smooth skin then began to crack open all around her body as orange-yellow flames began to rise from the cracks. The cracks formed a unique pattern, breaking from her eyes and stretching towards the rest of her body.
"How hot would I look with a whip now?" The tailed Lilith said standing tall looking like an ancient flame goddess. A spine-chilling smile then crept on my face as I looked at her top to bottom.
"Really cool...!" I said as my skin cracked open all around my body as well and pitch-black flames rose from the cracks.
"But I think I look better." I said to her as I used my dark cloud as a mirror to look at myself.
"Let's go hunt some dragons." The tailed Lilith said, rolling her eyes.
"That actually sounds fun. Le-..." I began to say, then a subconscious thought came rushing into my conscious mind. It was a live view of one of my shadow pawns observing something.
I quickly opened a gate beneath me and teleported away from Fotiá. I then appeared in front of a man who stabbed me in the stomach. The blade shattered in his hand as my dark flaming eyes stared at him coldly.
"Do you have a death wish?" I said to him, with my death aura covering him.
