the distance between us too close, it's suffocating me! So much! I don't know what got Xavier to act so wildly, without any warning, this man continued sticking our noses together, with the look of his dim eyes. Damn, Xavier! why he look so attractive! I was almost captivated by his gaze but quickly regained consciousness.

Edmund Smith was my name. since birth, I have been destined to be a butler. it's not surprising since my late father was also a butler who worked with the Lawrence family for the past decade. and now, the job is to take over by my generation. Evangeline's parents are my decent masters, genuine in doing their job and a generous person .. also endowed with a daughter after almost 10 years of not having children.
Evangeline Lawrence is the name given by both duke and duchess Lawrence, raised with a full of love, an only child in Lawrence's family. somehow from when this mistake was coming actually? when I saw Evangeline's growth getting more and more uncontrollable, her personality no changing into the decent woman but further like a scandalous type. flirting with every man in the city no matter it's a single or married man. they'll be captivated by her softness and beauty. after she was getting tired of it, the girl would abandon the line of her plaything as if nothing had happened. her bad habits continued until the duke and duchess passed away. Well, I thought Evangeline would change and start taking over the duties of her late mother and father but sadly it's not a sign of changing at all! this lady's bad habit still the same.
until, on her 21st birthday, Evangeline appeared to change into someone else. her personality changed little by little, her bad habits were tossed out and slowly I began to see her took over the duties of the late duke and duchess.

"I'm sorry my lady but I curious why you suddenly want to get rid of them."
I can see the smile on her face. she put the cup on the table after finishing with it.
"well, you can say it's time for me to be mature. till when I've to act like a useless person, mother, and father would be upset with me if I continue acting irresponsibly like this. so, this time I want to correct my mistakes."
"oh..you mean to atone for your sins?"
"shut up Edmund, you're spoiling my mood. now give me an idea, how I can getting rid of them. show me your intelligent Edmund."
