"Cratus was brought before Zeus when he was younger by his mother, Styx, the goddess of hate." Willow explained vaguely, "She was also the goddess of the River Styx that is the border between life and death in the underworld."
"The underworld..." The fox looked to her in bewilderment, "So, that's why you asked Cratus about his opinion and informed him about the current situation!"
Willow nodded, "His mother is an ocean nymph and a titan. However, she sided with Zeus during the war against the titans and brought her children with her while her husband sided with the titans. Whenever Zeus was in trouble, it was said that she would be the first to come to his aid. Zeus declared that all oaths must be sworn upon her river after the war ended."
