Captivated by the hypnotizing lights
Habitually, I stream the winds and fly
Next thing I knew I was a bug caught on a thread
A woven fabric that kept rendering me mindless,
The silk quivers with the tick of the clock
Sudden jolts warn the increasing flock
I rest my eyes but fall for the same trick again
One day I'll wake over,
And find myself shackled in a black widow's lair
