Finding Emzlie was not too hard of an issue. She had also taken a break to relax and was now in a quieter part of the junkyard deep in thought.
Mares made no effort to hide his presence so the yellow-haired turned her head to look at him with a smile.
She was sitting on a bench looking at a small pond and the silver-eyed took a seat next to her.
"It's weird. In the Colosseum, we never had the time or opportunity to just stop and contemplate something in peace. Even with we tried there was a sense that we were always on edge, and now that is gone, I am having a hard time adapting."
She said that she was holding the flower Mares had given to her a few days ago. He noticed and smiled but did not comment on it.
"I know how it is. Battling so much that when you stop and don't hear any noise it is unsettling. But we will get used to it eventually."
He told her with a reassuring smile that Emzlie returned as she gently put her hand above his.
