"Before the fallen star, we weren't in this small village, but a city, a capital, a kingdom. Our people were united and our lives were peaceful. Of course, there were issues, that's a natural course of life, but nothing to the extension of what the star brought."
For Mares and Felsen to better understand the situation and the scale of what they had put themselves in, the elders were explaining the history of their people with the meteor.
"We were just a little older than you two when it happened. Out of nowhere, there was a big light covering everything, and then a bigger explosion happened, followed by powerful earthquakes. When we managed to get a hold of what was happening, our capital had already been severely damaged."
