It was the first time they heard any sort of loud noise since arriving. The place had been quiet, not eerily so, instead quite like nature usually was.
That was no longer the case as they could hear something not so far away from their location.
Mares and Felsen looked at each other, stopping their talk to speak through message projections of Astral Energy.
"What do you think?"
Because Felsen's body had and was refined by Astral Energy she had better senses than most. Nonetheless, a warrior would still have superior sense compared to a mage, much less Mares who was a top-notch warrior and an insanely powerful biology on top.
"Some sort of animals. Doesn't seem to be Void Beasts, or at least I can't feel any Astral Energy from here. Let's take a look."
Mares concluded, making both stealthy moves in the direction of the sound.
