"What are you doing?"
Mares asked the mage, who was messing with her personal device. From his understanding, these things were similar to Earth's cellphones, but naturally much more advanced and with countless more features.
It was small, looking like some type of key fob.
Felsen sighed putting her small device away, and then replied to Mares.
"I was hoping to be able to contact Rotaka or Weishiro or, well anyone else. But I can't… should have figured out."
The result was obvious but Felsen still looked disappointed.
Mares scratched his head, there weren't many words of comfort he could give her at the moment. And it wasn't like he was particularly capable in social interactions, much less bringing the mood up.
"You are very close with them."
Saying nothing it would be more awkward, so the silver-eyed went for a simple observation. It worked.
"Of course, we are. They are my family."
