When Mares jumped, Felsen thought about how much she was falling from high heights today. First from the ship and now from a Void Beast that was so big that even jumping from their mouth, they could only have an approximation of the size of the body.
In reality, it was only two big falls, but it was a higher average than her usual record of none.
Their vision was blocked by the dark clouds, the cold would be unbearable if it wasn't for their Astral Energy, and even then, for Felsen who was a mage, it was discomforting.
The wind was so fast that it was hurting Mares' skin, despite his natural sturdiness. It would be much worse for the mage if Mares wasn't holding her in a manner that made him take most of the impact.
Yet all of this wasn't even the worst part of their situation, tragically enough.
