First things first, Mares threw a bunch of crystal spikes on everything around to deal with the closer Void Beasts. They were in the range of five to seven rank, but as they were no longer in water their strength was limited, making them easy targets for slaughter.
He kept throwing the spikes until the nearest ones were dead, then Mares got out of the sphere and went to finish the job on the remaining ones that were still alive.
The beasts tried to attack him, but the silver-eyed effortlessly took care of them all. It was a vast difference compared to how domineering they could be in water.
