Right as the battle ended, not feeling any threat nearby or being notified of such, Mares took Felsen who was in no condition to keep going either way, to take her back to her room.
"You don't need to thank me." Said Mares.
"And you didn't need to carry me back. And still, here we are." Felsen replied, back with the cheekiness she had just a few hours ago when the two first met.
Mares simply rolled his eyes. They would get nowhere on that topic and both knew it.
"Do you have any idea of how many more attacks we are likely to face?"
He asked, preferring to know of that just to have an idea and not be taken by surprise by either almost having no more Void Beasts appearing, or flocks of them constantly bothering the crew.
"Likely to have a lot, as the further we go into the sea, the more the Void Beasts become prevalent, both on the ocean and the air. Is the reason we bought so many hands to battle after all."
