If the crew were to come back now to the lake, they would be surprised by how much it had changed in so little time as the entire lake had been replaced by a solid block of ice.
By hearing it was ice one could think of something easy to break but the sensation Mares' felt on his feet reassured him that the ice Lupa created was as solid as diamonds. Even his physical strength could only do so much damage to it, and he was not capable of going deep into it.
The extremely cold temperature caused by Lupa's innate technique also gave rise to some mist, in fact, Mares' breath condensed as soon as he let it out.
Lupa's technique was terrifying. Cold was one of the most excruciating states one could experience and Lupa's power had reached a level in which she could create cold beyond extreme levels. Mares could see this was just a casual use of her powers for her, while for him it was one of the most extreme environmental conditions he had been exposed to.
