For the following hour, the group was in front of the wall trying to make the smallest scratch possible on it purely with their will and they realized how much of a colossal task that was.
The first challenge was to control their physical strength. It would be pointless if they attacked and scratched the wall with their physics. Every time they failed at that task wind would come and hit them back, sending them at least ten steps back.
That was Tark's way to correct their mistakes and it was mostly effective.
Mares was the one to suffer the most from this restriction. Having just advanced, assimilating a trace of the reverse scale that awakened his dragon blood and getting all that energy from Avaran's jade had raised his physical power in an unprecedented way.
And Mares had not yet practiced with his newfound strength, so his control was as lacking as it could be.
