After Mares released a few casual attacks, wiping out decent chunks of the opposing enemies, it became clear that there was an issue with the balancing of the two groups.

That was enough for Sword to take his decision and go after Mares. He was already feeling an itch to battle the silver-eyed, this was just the excuse he needed.
He pushed Stella away and turned his back on her. The leader was about to attack him when she had to defend herself against Shield's punch.
There was a force field covering his body, which defended him from both Stella and Emzlie attacks, before breaking by the pressure.
Shield still didn't bulge under the combined power of the two and managed to defend against one more hit before being sent a few feet back.
"I usually wouldn't look down on someone being loyal to family, but is quite pathetic how you are just your brother's puppy."
Emzlie said with an expression of despise on her face.
