Jonathan and she-hulk both punched a locust's head at the same time, the impact caused its head to implode and splatter green ooze everywhere.
Jonathan looked at she-hulk hesitantly "we just killed a bunch of giant roaches together. That means we're friends now, right? And we don't smash our friends, do we, hulk? Hulk?"
"RRRRRGGGH!" She-hulk grunted.
She-hulk put her hands on her head "GAGGH! Voice in head won't shut up!" She growled.
"Okay, that sounds bad." Jonathan said.
"Stupid puny dead space giant! Stupid voice say..." she growled again and then she turned on Jonathan and raised her fist "RRRRRRRGGGH!" She roared.
"Hulk, no!" Jonathan yelled.
She-hulk slammed her fist into the ground where Jonathan was as he quickly jumped to the side before her fist impacted.
"Go to hell!" She-hulk yelled as she was free-falling down the hole she created.
Jonathan sighed and ran a hand through his hair "the scariest part of this whole thing...is that the hulk seems to know more about what's going on than I do. That was either her telling me off or inviting me along. Why do I get the feeling... ...I'm getting punched a whole lot either way?" He wondered.
Jonathan sighed and jumped down the hole after she-hulk "hell, here I come!"
(With davi, Seren, Selina, and shinji)
"GRRRGH, what have you done?!" Selina growled in discontent.
"This...just keeps getting better." Shinji muttered sarcastically.
Loki chuckled "oh, you can't blame me for what's happening here, for the glorious cosmic death raining down from above. I'm merely a facilitator. This is all the lovely murderous handiwork of the final host"
"By the way, I'll take those warp grenades of yours if you don't mind." Loki said as he used magic to take them away from Davi as they started floating towards him.
"I do mind... quite a damn—GAGGH!" Davi grunted as they were electrocuted again.
"I swear...I'll get you for this!" Selina yelled.
"Yes, I'm sure you will try. You are the avengers, after all." Loki said mockingly.
Shinji looked up at Loki "actually I never officially agreed to...GUUGH!" He grunted in pain as more Volts of electricity flowed through him.
Loki shook his head "you don't get it, when the final host are finished here... ...there will be nothing left of this world to avenge. See how their dark surges, now that they're standing at the heart of the great primordial infection? All that's left for them to do is crack open the earth itself and at last unleash the full fury of the..." before he could finish seren managed to raise her hand.
"HHRGH, got a...better idea." She started to charge up a beam of energy and Released it aiming at the warp grenades.
"No! Those grenades are attuned to the..." Davi screamed as Loki released the field around the grenades that would allow the beam of energy to hit them causing them to explode.
"See you in the stars, avengers." Seren closed her eyes and waited as the beam she shot hit the grenades causing them to explode.
"Where... where have they gone?" Selina asked.
"I-if the warp grenades worked...into the sun." Davi said solemnly as she helped Selina and shinji up.
(The center of the earth.)
"UGGH, is it just me...or are these things getting stronger?" Constantine let out an irritated grunted as he fried another locust with his fire magic.
Aven stomped on the head of a locust "it's not just you, Constantine. Their power levels are rapidly expanding. They've tapped into a new energy source. They're feeding on something." Aven informed.
Several more locust started to come, it seemed like the more they took down their were even more waiting to take their place.
"Uh, yeah. And that something is about to be us." Constantine pointed out as him and Aven were back to back.
"This is a lost cause. Use your magic to get to the surface, Constantine. I'll hold them here for as long as I can. A few more hours is likely the most I can manage." Aven stated.
"Well, now you're just showing off. But I'm not leaving you, mate. So you'd better figure out a way to save us b—" before Constantine could finish their was rumbling that started to occur.
"I take it back! Definitely leaving you!" Constantine said.
"What is that sound?" Aven wondered.
"Is it the locusts screeching?" Constantine answered as he zapped a locust using lightning magic.
"No, it's..." before Aven could finish she-hulk and Jonathan burst through the rocks.
"RRRRRRGGGGHHH!!!" She-hulk roared.
Jonathan was using his fire manipulation to fly "hi. We're the good guys. I think." Jonathan said.
(With seren)
"Wake up." Loki said.
"Wha..." Seren groaned as she opened her eyes.
"You'll want to see this." Loki informed.
"It's not every day you get to see a star from the inside." Loki chuckled.
Seren looked around and noticed all of the yellow light and she put two and two together "how... we're... inside the sun."
"Yes, and you're quite welcome, by the way, for saving your life. Luckily for you, it's quite difficult to murder a sorcerer of my caliber...not that there are any other sorcerers of my caliber, mind you... even by throwing said sorcerer into the sun. You naughty girl you." Loki smirked.
Seren attempted to blast Loki but he merely used his hand and slapped the blast away. "Come now, we don't have time for that. And do you really want to render unconscious the only god who's currently keeping you alive? Not much in the way of Brains with you, is there? I'll try to use smaller words from here on out. How about... you're coming with us." Loki said as they were in a dark celestials palm, it was the celestial producing a ball of energy keeping them alive.
But suddenly electricity started coursing through her body, as the dark celestial started electrocuting her "GAAARRRGGH! Doesn't matter what happens to me. Avengers...won't stop fighting." She hissed defiantly.
Loki snorted "fighting? Ha. You call that a fight, what we just witnessed back on Midgard? I suppose you also believe a fly can fight against a thunderstorm?"
"Depends... on the fly." Seren glared at Loki.
"Well, I hate to disappoint you, little bug, but there will be no battle between the avengers and the final host." Loki informed.
"Good. I accept your surrender." Seren said.
Loki tsked "I'm happy to see that impending annihilation hasn't affected your sense of humor, you'll need that in the hours ahead. Personally, I've always found global extinction is best served... with a smile. Hear me, boys? Let's see some grins!" Loki chuckled as the dark celestials all stood tall with their weapons at the ready.
(With shinji, davi, and Selina.)
"She's alive. She's alive. Alpha flight confirms it." Davi informed.
"Thank god..." Selina sighed in relief.
"Well I'll be damned..." Shinji whistled.
"They're all alive. The dark celestials, too." Davi informed.
"Then we must go after them." Selina told them.
"Too late. Alpha flight satellites caught the final host emerging from the sun unscathed... ...along with our impromptu leader and Loki. But they all teleported away immediately afterward. Present whereabouts... unknown." Davi interjected.
"So much for the "throw them into the sun" plan. That seemed like it would've worked." Shinji sighed.
When selina heard Loki was still alive she let out a growl of discontent "GRRRGGH!!! Disappointed!!!"
"The giant dead bodies have stopped falling from the sky. So at least there's that." Davi stated.
However Shinji was less than pleased with all of the proceedings thus far "this is on you, this is exactly the sort of cosmic catastrophe that alpha flight or S.H.I.E.L.D. Or one of those organizations is supposed to stop." He snapped.
"We will stop it, Shinji. In the meantime, feel free to stay out of our way. Or more specifically, my way." Davi fired back.
"Stop this at once! This isn't productive! This is not how avengers behave!" Selina interjected.
However Shinji and Davi turned towards her "we're not the avengers!" Both Davi and shinji yelled.
As the three exchanging hard gazes with one another they heard rumbling "oh what the hell is this now?" Shinji groaned.
Soon enough from the ground emerged she-hulk with Jonathan's arms wrapped around her neck and holding with Constantine and Aven with both her arms as they landed she-hulk dropped Aven and Constantine and Jonathan released his grip from around her neck.
Aven saw davi, Shinji, and Selina "well Constantine... you said we needed a team...well here's the team." Aven informed.
(The North Pole.)
"Look at them. It's almost beautiful. In a... disgusting sort of way, Of course." Loki chuckled as he saw a huge congregation of locust.
"Listen Loki. I don't like you... but I'm willing to work with you If it means saving the world. Whatever part you're playing here, Loki, there's still time to change course. To help us stop this." Seren said.
Loki shook his head "your world is a very simple place. Isn't it, of course it is. You're a girl who came of age in a world of peace. But I am older than the human race's capacity for walking upright. And with that sort of age comes a very unique perspective, one you and your freshly evolved cortex cannot possibly fathom." Loki said.
Loki then turned around and looked Seren in the eyes with a hard gaze "I am something far beyond your petty concepts of good and evil, woman. But if you insist on resorting to trite labels, then believe it or not... ...I am the good guy here." Loki informed.
Seren scoffed "the nazis thought they were the good guys, too. Even when they were slaughtering millions."
Loki pointed at the celestial who summoned the final host "if your Brain could withstand communicating with a celestial, then perhaps you could ask this fellow here what he thinks of my abilities as a savior. He first came to this world a million years ago, in a state of distress, desperately in need of assistance. Instead he was assaulted by my father and his primordial minions and buried in the dirt like so much cosmic garbage. That's where I found him* and helped him rise again to attain his true form."
The celestial started to lower the field that Loki and seren were into the icy waters of the North Pole. "You haven't saved anything, Loki. These celestials have been corrupted, driven mad. They murdered their own kind." Seren said.
"The treatments may seem unconventional, it's true, but I do expect a full recovery. If you don't believe me, come, you can examine the patient yourself." Loki informed.
As the orb started its descent into the dark waters of the North Pole, seren spoke "where are you taking me?" She questioned.
"To the root of the infection. An infection as old as time." Loki stated.
"An infection under the North Pole?" Seren wondered.
"Indeed. The patient is the earth, and it's about time the old lady either healed up... or died." Loki said.
(New York city.)
After introductions everyone had formally introduce themselves Shinji spoke.
"Okay, so... just to recap... ...just to make sure I'm not completely crazy... ...the earth is infested with giant bugs. And covered with dead celestials. And somewhere out there, Loki and his unstoppable new pals, the final host, are up to something that will likely murder us all. Did I miss anything?" Shinji asked.
"RRGGGHH!" She-hulk grunted.
"Oh right. There's a raging hulk here. That's sure to help us get. A handle on things." Shinji said.
"RRRGH. Less talk. More punch." She-hulk growled.
"That's a plan I can get behind. We are wasting time. We must find where they've taken Seren." Selina informed.
"We have every eye in orbit searching for Seren. But until we locate the final host, these insect creatures may be the most pressing threat." Aven stated.
"None of us are experts on these celestials. We need to find someone who is." Constantine pointed out.
"That hulk knows something." Jonathan chimed in. "She's the reason I'm here. And the reason we saved you guys from those bugs." He explained.
Shinji rose a brow "right. And who are you again?" He asked.
"I'm the guy who went to the center of the earth and back." Jonathan answered.
"Super. We'll call you if we need help, rescuing an old lady or stopping a purse snatcher." Shinji said sarcastically.
"Shinji..." Selina said warningly
"Yeah, I know, I'm in full-power jerk mode now, but I don't know this kid from a hole in the wall. And I'm already surrounded by far too much that I don't know. So let's talk about how we improve my iq score people." Shinji stated.
Suddenly elite ran up breathing slightly ragged. "I heard fighting...but it looks like I'm late to the party." He sighed.
"Well here's another person director fury was going to recruit. Everyone meet elite, but he sometimes goes by the alias maxwell Clayton." Aven introduced.
"I'm not even going to ask how you know that..." elite said.
"It's best that you don't. Anyway, I've been in contact with Captain Britain and the people's defense force in China. There are heroes all over the world already dealing with the destruction caused by the fallen celestials. We need to be focused on preventing whatever is coming next." Aven pointed out as he held a dead locust in his hand.
"Right. That's why aven and I are headed to alpha flight station, to find out what the hell these bug things are." Davi informed.
"So we're doing the split up into smaller teams thing? Good. That's a solid, time-honored strategy. You're right, Constantine. We need some experts in the celestial field if we're gonna rescue Seren. That's why me and elite have a date with the eternals." Shinji stated.
"Terrific. Should I know who that is?" Constantine questioned.
"Constantine. You might want to pay all-father Odin a visit, I spoke with king T'challa before we went to recruit you. He said that Odin knows a lot about the celestials. He might have knowledge that we can use to our advantage." Aven informed.
Constantine nodded and looked at she-hulk "well come on love. Me and you have a date. Me and you have a date with An old fossil of an asgardian." Constantine said as he opened a portal and she-hulk grunted but compiled and walked through with Constantine.
Shinji gaped and elite spoke up "Constantine just took our hulk. Is that good or bad?" He wondered.
"Well... ...it's definitely bad for someone." Shinji answered.
(Old Asgard.)
Constantine and she-hulk walked through the portal and entered the ruins of old Asgard. "Let me do the talking, here. And don't smash anything unless I do." Constantine said as they walked.
"HRRGH." She-hulk let out a grunt which Constantine could only assume was one of compliance.
"Odin! Where are you, you wanker? Don't try and hide!" Constantine called out.
They soon enough saw Odin sitting on the throne of his once great kingdom now reduced to nothing more but rubble. "I'm too old and broken to hide. What is it you seek, magician?" Odin questioned.
"The truth! And you're gonna give it to me, whether you damn well like it or not." Constantine demanded.
(With davi, elite, Jonathan, Shinji, and Selina, and Aven.)
"So, Aven... you gonna send the kid on his way? Or should I?" Selina asked referencing Jonathan who was standing in the background with his hands behind his head.
Aven shook his head "the kid did not require our Influence in order to become involved in these proceedings. No Selina... he will have to find his own way." Aven stated as they all went their separate ways. Selina, elite, and shinji off to see the eternals and Davi and Aven to alpha flight station to gather information about the locust leaving Jonathan behind.
"So I guess I'm headed back to the homefront, huh? I mean who was I kidding? I just flew to a spaceship party. Whatever this is, it's clearly waaaaay outside my league right?" Jonathan questioned himself as he walked and accidentally kicked a piece of celestial metal that fell of a body of one.
Jonathan picked it up "... all right, time to take this chunk of dark celestial tech and make like a blood-hound... time to go find some space gods!" Jonathan used his fire to propel himself into the air and started to fly at high-speed heading north.
(With Seren and Loki)
As they had descended into the deepest depths of the icy waters of the North Pole. Loki smirked when he used his scepter to illuminate the dark waters and Seren's eyes widened.
"Behold, the root of the great infection. And the reason this world must die. Behold the progenitor. The father of the avengers. The father of you all." Loki stated.
Seren saw a dead celestial in a kneeling position.

Chadwick boseman. I remember the first movie I ever saw him in, it was get on up. The story of James brown one of the greatest musicians to ever pick up a microphone. I fell in love with his acting he was so great. I started to watch more of his movies and I realized this man was gifted seriously gifted. It should be criminal for someone to be that good, but he was. He went on to portray various icons and historical figures. Such as thurgood Marshall, Jackie Robinson, James brown, and his most well known of all his roles T'challa. We lost one of the best of our generation, a true icon a one of a kind talent in our generation and an overall good man. You're movies were always a treat to see and it's a shame that we won't get to see you anymore. But we should all take solace in knowing you aren't in pain anymore, but it doesn't make it hurt any less. You were a warrior and should be remembered as such, I will remember you always Chadwick, I will remember how you lived, not how you died, I just prefer not to think about that... rest in power Chadwick boseman: wakanda forever!)
