Chapter 129 - Aurora's Mother

Leon and Aurora didn't have any other options, so they followed Radiant Light as he continued to walk.

After a minute of silence, Leon decided to speak.

"Um, Elder Radiant Light. If you don't mind me asking. I was wondering how you knew Aurora was a part of your tribe?"

Radiant Light didn't even look back but continued to walk.

"All will be answered soon, I'll explain when we reach back to my tent.

After they had walked past giant compounds of tents which were almost sectioned off from the other tents, the group reached a similar-looking compound but on the gate, a giant wolf was carved onto it.

Radiant Light spoke up.

"We are finally here. Welcome to the White Wolf camp."

Leon looked around and tried to observe as many things as he could. He noticed that the tents were visibly bigger and better in terms of quality compared to the other ones he saw originally on the way to the council.

The entire section of tents was even fenced off from the rest of the normal tents as dozens of people commuted around the compound-like section.

Glancing at the regular warriors walking around, he could tell that they were definitely stronger than the other people roaming near the edge of the camp.

Leon could only attribute the stark difference to the bloodlines or blood strength they had mentioned during the council but was still skeptical to think a bloodline could improve someone's power so much.

As Radiant Light walked past tents and numerous people, each person would bow and give their respects to the elder.

"Greetings Elder."

"Welcome Elder."

Then out of nowhere, the muscular man that spoke out at the council came to Radiant Light and looked at Leon and Aurora.

"Father, you have returned with guests I see.."

Seeing his son's confusion, Radiant Light started to whisper something into the muscular man's ear and continued to speak for a few seconds. After a Radiant light stopped whispering, the muscular man's eyes went wide and Leon could've sworn that he almost fell down.

The muscular man stared at Aurora with his mouth gaping and could only dismiss himself.

"Well if that's the case father, then allow me to excuse myself."

As the man went into the third biggest tent in the sectioned-off compound for the White Wolf tribe, Radiant Light continued to walk towards the biggest tent.

"I'm sure you could have connected the dots, by now but that lad was my son, Crushing Fang. He's the best warrior of his generation and almost the most powerful in this tribe, behind this old man of course. He would be around…"

Radiant Light suddenly paused and seemed to be in deep thought until he spun around, face to face with Leon.

"Where are you from son? You don't look like someone from the Coalition."

Leon was impressed but expected the old man's observation and intellect.

"Ah, you would be correct. I'm from Partha."

Hearing his answer, Radiant Light slightly raised his eyebrows in surprise.

"Partha huh? You don't see too many people from Partha out here too often."

Eventually, Radiant Light ended up in front of the biggest tent in the compound and opened the entrance.

"Well if you're from Partha, I guess my son would be around the middle or maybe lower parts of A-Tier? Ah, I have no clue what the standard is like nowadays in Partha, but I'd say he's around there."

Leon suddenly stopped mid-stride as his eyes went wide.

'Somewhere between the lower to middle parts of A-Tier? That would mean he could be stronger than Erik…'

This greatly surprised him. Even though Leon didn't know how much strength Erik was concealing, he could definitely tell that he had never gotten truly serious.

The gap between a person at the top of B-Tier and someone at the lowest of A-Tier was something that was akin to the ground and sky.

Something he had been told was old but accepted saying that went around the adventurers in Partha.

An F-Tier was closest to a well-conditioned normal man, while a B-Tier could truly be called slightly strong. But an A-Tier? An A-Tier could only be described as someone who had just started the true journey to strength.

Leon had no idea what 'the journey to strength' meant, but he had always held Erik on a pedestal.

Even with the impressive show of strength he had seen back in Orsini, he knew Erik had probably never even used more than a drop of his strength that spanned the size of a lake.

So hearing the fact that Crushing Fang was around the same level and maybe higher gave Leon a little insight into why the Coalition had truly never conquered the wildlands.

He even shuddered, when he realized that Radiant Light was even stronger.

'Could he be at the fabled S-Tier?'

S-Tier was something that went beyond normal human understanding. Erik once told Leon that 'An adventurer who truly belonged in A-Tier could never defeat an S-Tier. It didn't matter how many A-Tiers fought, even if an army of them fought an S-Tier. They would still lose. An S-Tier is someone, no, something that has made a step closer to the gods.'

Radiant Light was amused as he watched Leon stop midstep for almost a minute and cleared his throat slightly.

"Are you going to go in or not?"

Snapping back to reality, Leon looked embarrassed and stepped in quickly. Once the both of them stepped in, Radiant Light walked into the tent while he closed the flap behind him.

He set two pillows on the ground and gestured for them to sit, which the both of them did. Before he did the same, he rummaged around the tent until he brought out a small pouch alongside a big scroll.

Finally sitting down on a pillow that faced, both Aurora and Leon he sighed as he looked towards Aurora.

"Would you really like to know about why I knew you were of our blood?"

Aurora looked at Leon, but he shook his head to show that it was her decision. Seeing that it was her decision, she immediately agreed.

"Yes."

Radiant Light started to spread out the scroll he brought, while he spoke to Aurora.

"What do you know about where your mother came from, Aurora?"

Aurora didn't even have to think as she quickly answered.

"I know she was originally from here before she married papa and moved."

Hearing her answer, Radiant Light pursed his lips, before he spoke.

"Well, I guess it's to be expected that your mother nor father never mentioned in great detail about where she came from. Where her heritage and previous home was."

Radiant Light completely set out the scroll, which seemed to be similar to Leon's frame of his parents.

"Your mother was originally from this very tribe, the White Wolf tribe. In fact, she was…"

Pausing for a second to compose himself, Radiant Light continued.

"She was my daughter."
