The group of people who sat apart from the other elders looked at Little Lightning and the elder at the front of the line that had an eagle with thunder on it stood up.
"Little lighting who are these two people?"
Little lightning continued to kneel down with his face facing towards the ground but spoke up.
"Can this junior speak freely?"
The elder nodded, so little lightning continued. He stood up and walked toward Leon who was holding Aurora's hand as she looked nervous around so many people.
"Do any of the twelve elders recognize this young girl?"
Each of the important-looking men and woman who sat next to a flag squinted at Aurora who looked uncomfortable and clutched onto Leon. After a few seconds, all of them shook their heads, but the elder who sat in the middle next to a flag with a White Wolf had a glint in his eye which no one else saw.
Little lightning paused and made his statement.
"I believe her to be blood from one of the twelve main tribes."
The moment he finished his sentence. The entire council started murmuring and some even gasped. Declaring someone unknown to the twelve main tribes as a blood-related member was something serious and not to be taken lightly. If one was joking, they would be severely punished.
This was because the twelve main tribes kept their bloodline very closely guarded, due to various reasons.
Even the elders who were as composed as a tranquil lake all had looks of surprise. The elder sitting next to the White Wolf flag took over for the previous elder.
"Little lightning. To declare a random stranger and foreigner a person from the twelve main clans. You do understand how daring that statement is correct?"
Little lightning spoke up confidently.
"Elder radiant light, I do."
His certainty made a lot of the elders and warriors from the other tribes, that were not a part of the main twelve, start to speculate if it was actually true. The elder who little lighting called radiant light continued to speak.
"Seeing as you are from the Thunderbird tribe, who are one of the twelve main tribes themselves, I will not doubt your credibility. You have even served this council and alliance well. However, you must know that no matter how much trust we have in you for such an accusation. We must see some hard proof."
Before little lightning said anything, the shamaness stepped up and confirmed little lightning's claim.
"Elders of the twelve main clans. Elders and warriors of the council. On my title of shamaness, I vouch for little lightning, as I have even confirmed it via a blood strength test and found out that her blood was many times stronger than the test droplet."
The moment the shamaness spoke, many elders started murmuring things.
"Even the shamaness stepped up and vouched for little lightning?"
"If the shamaness used her title…"
"Isn't the shamaness originally from one of the twelve main tribes as well?"
"What will her Horned-serpent tribe say?"
An elder from the Horned-serpent tribe started to speak from her chair.
"A blood strength test? Whose blood did you use to test the girl's blood against?"
The shamaness didn't show too many other emotions and appeared to remain calm.
"Mine."
Suddenly the entire tent and council went into an uproar. The idea of the shamaness using her own blood was not a problem. However, she had claimed that the test droplet they used was completely overpowered by Aurora's blood.
The shamaness was originally from one of the twelve clans and had an extremely potent and concentrated bloodline that contained great strength compared to some of the others members.
Suddenly, a rather old woman walked towards the center of the tent and banged her long staff onto the ground. The shamaness looked surprised and immediately kneeled to the lady.
"Chief shamaness. This disciple greets you."
The once rowdy and chaotic council immediately became quiet as the chief shamaness came out. No one dared even breathe too loudly when the chief shamaness talked, which spoke volumes about the power and influence she held. The shamaness nodded at the silence and looked towards her student.
"Little one. I do not doubt your credibility and understand that you are telling the truth. However, with such a startling and almost impossible claim, may we conduct the test once more? It is very surprising to think a person who doesn't live among us to be a part of the twelve clans, yet has a strong enough bloodline to overpower yours."
The shamaness didn't say anything and gave her mentor the vial with the other droplet of blood that she got from Aurora. Taking the vial, the shamaness called for a ceremonial polished stone bowl and looked at the people from the twelve clans.
"I will need someone with a rather potent and strong bloodline to donate a drop of blood for the test."
Everyone sitting in the separated group designated for the twelve main clans looked at each other to see who would volunteer. Before anyone could speak up, Elder Radiant Light stood up and volunteered himself.
"I'll do it."
Immediately the entire council went up into chaos as the elder from one of the twelve main clans actually volunteered to donate a drop of their blood. A warrior that looked to command great respect and power, who was barely shorter and much more muscular than Raging Bull stood up from the line that Radiant Light stood in and interjected.
"Father, let me do it. You can-"
The old man who had most likely lived a long life walked towards the chief shamaness and put up his hand which immediately made the warrior go silent. When Radiant Light approached the chief shamaness, she looked surprised and whispered into his ear.
"Are you sure you want to go through with this?"
Without even replying, the old man took a small needle that was on the table and pricked his finger as a droplet of blood fell into the bowl and he went back to his seat.
At this point, every person in the council and tent was shocked to their core and would probably remember this event for the rest of their lives. Even the chief shamaness had an amused look and took out the vial that her student gave her.
"Well, I shall conduct the blood test personally."
She let the drop of blood fall onto the bowl and the two droplets of blood immediately collided.
