Xavier's~
"Who do they think they are?"
"Your parents, idiot!" Dylan stated.
"He knows, idiot!" Raven chimed in.
"Shut up you both idiots!"
I yelled at them. I was already pissed at my parents. Besides being my parents who do they think they are.
Lately, I have been trying to convince them that I am ready to take over the business and other matters. That's what they have trained me my whole life. I am also turning eighteen within a month but they don't even bother what I say because they still think I am not ready yet.
Are they even serious!
After all, they have done to me. They took everything away from me; my childhood, my innocence, the carefree childhood I could have enjoyed with other children of my age.
I did not have a normal childhood like everyone else. I was homeschooled, trained to fight, and to become a successful businessman. I was there only hier. They etched this in my mind from the very first day of my life I remember. Now they are forcing me to attend this stupid high school for some stupid formalities.
They have made me this cold-hearted monster so now they should taste the field they have plowed.
I will show them how ready I am!
Raven gasped and faked hurt pretending to wipe away tears.
"I didn't raise you like this." Dylan said and gave me an 'I am so disappointed in you' look.
Aaaarrrhh what the hell I have gotten myself into. What was I thinking when I decided to give them a lift?
Dylan and Raven are twins. They live outside town but their childhood is spent almost in my house. Their mom is our family friend. She is a single mother and works in my dad's company, not because of any favors but she deserved the post. I appreciate her struggles.
I definitely love them. They are like brothers to me. They have supported me through everything when no one was there for me. But sometimes their childish behavior pisses me off to such an extent that I just want to kill myself along with them.
I was in my own mental hell when I didn't see a little girl running in the middle of the road.
"What the fuck man!" Raven shouted with panic in his eyes.
I was lost in my thoughts and was driving at a very high speed as usual. I started honking and tried to stop the car.
And right when I wanted her to keep running that idiot stopped and turned back right in front of my car, instead of getting aside.
I managed to stop the car but not before hitting her slightly which caused her to fall on the road. Her face twisted in a shocked and pained expression.
I got out of the car and rushed towards her. Her eyes were closing. Something about her angelic face caught me off guard. She was breathtakingly beautiful and had a striking resemblance to someone I couldn't decipher. I have never seen such a beautiful face in my life besides my mom.
What the fuck.
I sounded like a cheesy idiot but that feeling was strong. I couldn't help it. I pushed everything aside and my cold facade was back as soon as I gathered myself.
Emotions make you weak. All I did with feelings is to throw them out as soon as they enter you. Or they will eat you up and make you hollow inside. They are like termites.
I picked her up in my arms not looking at her face, her long locks unable for me to handle.
She felt so fragile just like a doll in my arms. I handed her to Raven almost as if she burned my arms. He was astonished by my behavior and Dylan gave me a strange look.
People have gathered around and whispered to each other. But no one dared to say anything aloud. They better know not to mess with Xavier Millers.
I asked Raven to take her to the hospital. He nodded quickly as he is always looking for excuses to miss school. I am not any different from him in this case but I had some stupid test.
Or maybe I didn't want to see her again!
I let him take my car and left with Dylan walking towards the school. I may be a cold-hearted monster letting people die and suffer but I just can't do this to an innocent soul like her.
