The destination wasn't too far. Mark and Adam walked for about 15 minutes from their school to the Golden Lion Highschool.
"...That's a strange design." [Adam]
The school had many separate buildings labed in roman numerals, along with statues of lions.
"I forgot to mention, this is a competitive private school. Each person here is quite prideful, so…" [Mark]
"They're going to be annoying aren't they." [Adam]
Mark nodded.
"Can't be helped. Let's pick up the pace so we don't have to be here longer than we have to." [Mark]
The two moved as fast as walking could take them, all the way to the school's own disciplinary committee. Opening the door, Adam saw three people.
"Coming in~." [Mark]
As they entered Adam observed his surroundings. The first person was a brown haired boy lounging about whilst listening to music. The second was a blonde student with glasses working away on a desk. The last one was a bald guy lifting weights in the corner.
("This… is a pretty weird group setup.") [Adam]
None of them paid Adam or Mark any mind except for the blonde student.
"...Mark?" [Blonde Student]
"In the flesh. How're you doing Klein?" [Mark]
The blonde student sighed.
"Overworked… Who's that behind you?" [Klein]
"Oh, him? He's Adam. A temporary member in our disciplinary committee." [Mark]
After the short introduction, Klein stood up from his desk and came over.
"Nice to meet you Adam, name's Klein." [Klein]
He stuck out a hand, expecting a handshake.
"Uh… The pleasure's mine." [Adam]
Returning the favor, Adam shook his hand.
"Cool, cool. My members probably won't introduce themselves, so I'll do it for them." [Klein]
Smiling brightly, he pointed out the other two people in the room.
"The one listening to music is Micheal, and the one working out is Erik." [Klein]
"Sup~." [Micheal]
"Hmph!" [Erik]
Seeing how they reacted, Adam didn't feel too welcomed.
"Anyway, you must be pretty strong. I could feel it in your grip." [Klein]
"Eh… I'm-" [Adam]
"You have good eyes. Adam here is in fact a champion of the first years. Not to mention he beat the champion of the second and third years." [Mark]
Interrupting Adam, Mark started praising him.
"He beat… Who?" [Klein]
"Luis and all the third year champions." [Mark]
Klein was beginning to look very impressed.
"So he beat Orsted and those twin sisters? I'm truly impressed." [Klein]
"Wait, actually I-" [Adam]
The sound of weights dropping cut Adam off, and Erik approached Adam.
"You must be pretty strong. What's your level?" [Erik]
At this point, even Micheal turned off his music to listen.
"...Level one?" [Adam]
All three members of Golden Lion's disciplinary committee made a very disgusted expression.
"...You're joking, right?" [Klein]
"No…?" [Adam]
Klein Took out a handkerchief, choosing to wipe the hand he used to greet Adam.
"...What a waste of time." [Erik]
Turning around, he returned to lifting weights. As for Micheal, he simply turned his music back on.
"...Mark. You're one thing, but to bring a level one here…?" [Klein]
Looking at Adam with a disgusted face, Klein backed away.
"Klein, Adam is strong. It doesn't matter what level-" [Mark]
"Silence! You expect me to work with this… this lesser?!" [Klein]
"Klein!" [Mark]
Grabbing Klein's collar, Mark locked eyes with him.
"Adam. Is. Strong. It doesn't matter." [Mark]
"Heh. I doubt it." [Klein]
Mark pushed Klein back and scoffed.
"Why don't you test it?" [Mark]
"Test what? How to beat a weakling? Sorry, but I don't have the hobby of beating a dead horse." [Klein]
Mark didn't seem very happy to hear that.
"How about you Erik?" [Mark]
"...Hmph." [Erik]
Ignoring Mark, he continued his work out.
"Uh… Mark? It's fine-" [Adam]
"Ah, of course Erik would ignore me. He's scared because he knows Adam will win." [Mark]
Immediately dropping his weights, Erik approached Mark.
"I won't let that slide." [Erik]
"Is that so? Then try arm wrestling Adam." [Mark]
"Huh?" [Adam]
Erik glanced at Adam, then turned back to Mark
"He's too feeble. He'll break." [Erik]
"You mean you'll break?" [Mark]
"You…" [Erik]
Keeping silent, he grabbed a nearby table.
"Fine. C'mon bean sprout, I'm going to put you into the ground." [Erik]
