"C'mon... How do I do this?" [Adam]
Sitting by the living room, he held a pen to his lips.
"Felix, can you help me with this one?" [Adam]
He pointed down on his paper while looking at Felix with pleading eyes.
"No." [Felix]
"What? Please~." [Adam]
"Listen. If you always rely on me, you won't grow. As a person, that is." [Felix]
As he spoke, a knock came from the front door.
"Hm? Who do you think it is?" [Adam]
"Probably a mailman. Just ignore it." [Felix]
The two continued on their work, but the knocking turned into slamming.
"You, uh… gonna get that?" [Adam]
"..." [Felix]
He gently placed down his pen and walked to the front door. Keeping his cool, he reached for the handle as the door shook from the constant bashing.
"ALRIGHT! WHAT DO YOU WANT!!" [Felix]
He swung the door open, shocking the person on the other side. Disappointingly for Felix, it was Roy.
"Dang… You didn't have to be so violent…" [Roy]
"You-! Urgh! You just-! Ngh! Nevermind! What do you want!" [Felix]
Stunned from Felix's outburst, Roy furrowed his eyebrows with concern.
"...Need a minute to calm down?" [Roy]
"Just-! Haa… Just, what do you want?" [Felix]
Seeing that Felix had calmed down, Roy wasted no time in showing off a wooden box.
"This! Let's play it!" [Roy]
"What… the hell is that…?" [Felix]
"It's called an Ouija board. Apparently you can talk to dead people with it." [Roy]
"..." [Felix]
Keeping his silence, he simply closed the door.
"Wait! C'mon! Just once alright?!" [Roy]
He began to slam on the door, trying to get Felix to open the door. It didn't take long for Felix to open it again.
"If we play one game, will you leave?" [Felix]
"I'm a man of my word." [Roy]
As they entered the house, Adam greeted them in the living room.
"Welcome bac- oh, Roy is here." [Adam]
"Yeah, I know. He's gonna be gone soon, so don't miss him." [Felix]
"Wasn't going to." [Adam]
"Ouch. Do you guys have to berate me all the time?" [Roy]
"I'm surprised you even know how to use the word 'berate'" [Felix]
"...I'll take that as a yes." [Roy]
"So? What are you doing here?" [Adam]
Answering his question, Roy took out the wooden box and placed it on the table.
"This. We're going to play a board game." [Roy]
"What the hell is this?" [Adam]
"Exactly what I said." [Felix]
"This is called an Ouija board, I'll explain the rules in a bit." [Roy]
He lifted the cover on the box, revealing a folded wooden board. He flipped the box upside down, and shook it.
"Is this thing stuck in here! Just. Come. Out!" [Roy]
After shaking it multiple times, the box fell out of the box with a thud.
"There we go." [Roy]
"..." [Felix]
"Where did you even get this?" [Adam]
"I bought it for $20 bucks from an old man." [Roy]
"...Where?" [Adam]
As he replied to Adam, Roy unfolded the board.
"Don't really remember. He kind of called out to me in the middle of the street and left as soon as I bought it." [Roy]
"..." [Adam]
"Alright! Now we're ready." [Roy]
He spread out a flat slab of wood with the alphabet written on it. It also had the word 'Yes' on the left side, along with a 'No' on the right.
"What's that?" [Adam]
He pointed to a wooden arrow with strange engravings on it.
"This? It's what lets us talk to the ghost. You see the alphabet on the board? That's what it will point at." [Roy]
"Ghost?! I didn't hear about this!" [Adam]
"You are now- Hey! Don't run away!" [Roy]
Adam stood up to leave, but Roy pulled him back.
"It's just a game! It's not real!" [Roy]
"Adam, just… humor him for a bit." [Felix]
"..." [Adam]
After taking a moment to think about it, he sat back down.
"So the game goes like this. We all place our index finger on the arrow and ask a question. The arrow will move to answer it, but remember… Never ever EVER take your finger off, lest you be haunted." [Roy]
His words sent shivers down Adam's spine.
"Are you all ready?" [Roy]
The three crowded together and placed a finger on the arrow.
"Any ideas for the first question?" [Roy]
"Does it have to be a yes or no question?" [Felix]
"It would be faster to answer that way, but it doesn't have to be." [Roy]
"Then make a yes or no question. I don't want to be a part of this anymore." [Adam]
"Then… Are you Sebastian's girlfriend?" [Roy]
"What kind of question is tha- Huh?!" [Adam]
The arrow began to move. Slowly, it slid its way over to 'No'.
"It's real?!" [Adam]
"AHAHAHA!!! Just kidding~!" [Roy]
He held up his finger and wiggled it strangely.
"It was me the whole time~." [Roy]
He smiled gleefully at the two, but they returned his grin with frowns.
"...I'm going to finish my homework in my room." [Adam]
He picked up his belongings and headed upstairs.
"Roy, get out. I'm going to take a nap." [Felix]
Leaving his parting words, he followed Adam.
"Really? Done already? That's no fun…" [Roy]
He started to organize the box before he left, but he noticed something about it.
("Eh? Did I move the arrow away from 'No'?" [Roy]
