CHAPTER #1 ENCOUNTER
"Grandpa I am back"
"oh well come back Theo"
"what adventure did you go on today"
"I went to the forest and an old man gave me this" as he pulled something out his pocket.
"do you know what it is grandpa"
As he showed the object his grandfather, it was a circular metal disc with the symbol of a bird head with two swords cross behind it.
"oh this is a badge'' the grandfather said.
"a badge"
"Yes"
"it is the badge of the expedition team of the bird kingdom".
"wow" Theo said calmly.
"did the old man said anything when he gave you the badge".
Well I was eating my lunch when I heard a loud growling sound, so I went over to check and that's where I saw him lying on the ground covered in a rag.
"hungry, so hungry"
"a-are you ok mister"
"ah hello there youngster what are you doing in this forest and do you have anything to eat".
"I am on an adventure, and I have a lot of food over there, I don't mind sharing some with you mister".
"thank you, youngster"
Theo then help the old man over to his lunch site.
"sorry about this youngster, I haven't eaten anything in days so I am unable to walk".
As the reach the lunch site there was a bunch of meat around a fire.
"that is a lot of meat, where did you get that from?" asked the old man.
"from a bear" Theo replied as he sat the old man down on a log.
"from a bear you say, how did you manage to kill it?" the old man asked.
"don't worry mister, I am super strong" Theo replied.
While the two of them were stuffing their faces with bear meat, they could a hear something in the distance.
"sir sir where are you?"
Theo stood up "did you hear tha" before he could finish his question two men also covered in rags busted through the bushes.
There you are sir; we were looking all over for you" one of the men said.
Surprised by their sudden appearance Theo fell to the ground.
"ha ha ha" the old man stood up "finally found me huh, what took you so long".
"sir we have to go now to the main kingdom, the king is already furious that we are late" one of the men shouted.
"alright, lets go men" the old man shouted.
"YES SIR" the two men shouted as they saluted to the old man.
One of the men turn around and saw Theo on the ground "sir, who is this kid?" he asked.
"oh right, I never asked your name, I am Alexander and you are?" the old man asked.
"I am Theo" he replied.
"ok Theo Thank you for the food you gave me but I have to leave now, I will repay you in full someday ok".
The three men then start walking out of the forest to the dirt road where there was a double horse carriage waiting for them. When they arrive at the carriage one of the men sat infront and one sat on the back while Sir Alexander went inside of the carriage. As they were about to take off Sir Alexander call Theo, who had followed them out of the forest, to a small window of the carriage and asked "you like adventures don't you?"
"yes I do" Theo replied
"Then take this" as he handed him the badge "when you're old enough go to the bird kingdom and you will have a lot of adventures with that".
"thank you, sir," as he collected the badge.
After Theo collected the badge the carriage took off.
"sir why were you in that forest?"
"because I felt the presence of a demon beast so I leapt off the carriage and went after but after I killed it, I got lost and hungry and then that kid found me and offer me food and that's the story".
"grandpa can I go to the bird kingdom and join the expedition team".
"to be on the expedition team you have to be strong, so are you ready for harder training?".
"yes sir" as he picks up his wooden sword and heads out to train with his grandfather.
*Four (4) years later*
"alright grandpa I am heading to the bird kingdom now"
"here take these swords with you" as he handed Theo two katana one black and one red. Without questions Theo took the swords and sets off to the bird kingdom.
