Daisy couldn't contain the excitement that were swelling up inside of her just by thinking about teaching Bryson the sign language. It's different this time compared to when it was her other friends she was teaching because, first she get to spend more time with the guy, second she had been really having the same thought for a long while now if not for her shyness about asking the guy herself and third she's really looking forward of having a conversation with Bryson in a different way asides from texting and write up messages.
She woke up early like the usual, and plan to save some educational, and instructional videos about basic sign language on her laptop that she will give to Bryson so, that he can watch it on his free time. Even though, Daisy isn't quiet sure if the guy will like it but regardless, she doesn't want to think negatively and just pushed the thought at the very back of her mind.
She changed into her usual attire of jeans and plain white sweater paired with a black converse, she put her laptop inside her backpack, checked all of her belongings before deserting her house. With her head held up high, a bright smile on her face and a day full of radiance, Daisy started her simple exercise by walking to her work. It was a happy day, she can tell just by looking at the bright blue sky with clouds hanging on and moving in steady pace, the morning air is slightly chilly that brings a solace feeling on her skin and the street were bustling with people heading to their own destination.
'Hi Bae. Good morning to you too. You looked blooming today. What's up?' Her friend greeted when she stepped inside the shop. Megan's upper body was slightly bend down while arranging the new batch of flowers at the front of the shop's glass window for display, she just waved her hands while smiling from ear to ear.
'Hmm Is it the love coming to life I smell?' Megan playfully said while standing up to her full height. Daisy just shook her head then moved over behind the counter to get her laptop in her bag and placed it on top of it before going inside the storage room to put her things in her locker.
'So really, what's up to you today?' Her friend prodded again while leaning her body against the door frame.
'Nothing really. Just being optimistic. I want to start my day with a positive vibes.' She signed before tying her apron along her torso. They eventually needed one because, some flowers stained its color on their dresses when they were wrapping it.
'Right. You're always cheerful anyway so what's the difference. But, I can tell there's something more and you brought your laptop today. What was that for?' Daisy was really thankful that her friend seems to forget already about the occurrence yesterday because if not, she doesn't know how to answer Megan.
'Well, I'm going to search some instructional videos about basic sign language during my free time because Bryson asked me to teach him.'
'Really? Wow. That's awesome Bae! Thought he'd never asked, he obviously wants to learn just based on the way he looked at us whenever we were having a silent conversation, he was like, having an internal debate trying to read our moves, its hilarious.' Megan started laughing while shaking her head probably just by imagining Bryson's confused face.
'You're such a meanie. Well, actually I'm kind of surprised myself that he's interested in learning. But it's really sweet and it makes me really happy.' She confessed while blushing for who God's know the reason.
'That's great Bae, I'm happy that you're happy. Totally support you for that just remember that I'll always be here for you 'kay?' Megan smiled, flashing her white and even teeth before she turned around and goes back to the counter due to the sound of the door's bell.
Daisy checked her phone first before following suit. She received a message from Bryson like usual.

-
Same to you too! I'll inform you later when would we're gonna start. Can you also buy me some donuts, I'm craving it. I'll just pay you later. Thanks :)'
The truth was, she's craving some sugary foods because of her monthly cycle though of course, she wouldn't tell that to a guy.

'No problem and when do I let you pay for hmm? Never. Gotta go to school now I'm bout to drive. Miss ya already shorty'

Daisy's about to replied back with 'I miss you too' but decided against it, she just put her phone back inside her jeans pocket and went to the counter to join her friend that was now assisting a customer. The first thing that she noticed when she walked out of the room was that— the customer who's a man probably in his early 30's was already looking at her like he's been expecting her to showed up anytime now.
His piercing gaze were penetrating and the wide smile on his face sent a shivers that run down her spine but, not like the one she felt towards Bryson, its kind of eerie even though she doesn't want to judge the man especially because it's their first customer, still, it didn't help Daisy by feeling a little freaked out and nervous.
The man didn't even tried to hide his unsettling stares at her even though she caught it. In fact when their eyes connected with each other, the man smile just only widened even more.
Daisy gulped down her apprehension to control herself from having an anxiety attack. It's too early and totally out of place to have a little mental breakdown right now, thinking it was supposed to be a good day for her, she just ignored the anxious feeling and stood beside her friend that was too busy arranging the flower to even noticed the changed on her demeanor.
'Here you go sir. That'll we $20.' Megan said in her usual business-like and professional tone while handing the flower over to the odd customer.
'Thank you. This is really lovely and your shop is really beautiful.' Daisy can almost feel his eyes at her when he said those words. What's wrong with her today? Is it because of her monthly period? Don't look at him, don't look. She chanted over and over again while trying to busied herself by opening her laptop.
'Thank you very much sir. Hope you visit us again soon.' Megan playful tone made the customer laughed. His voice was deep and raspy that just further the disturbance in Daisy's chest.
'You're welcome and I really hope to be back here again soon.' There was an underlying message in the customer's words that she couldn't quiet decipher, its like, it is meant for her. After a while, the bell jingled indicating that finally, the man left. Daisy let the air filled her lungs and released it in a long sigh. The unnerving feeling was slowly decreasing and she tried so hard not to think about what happened.
Maybe she was just overthinking again or just because the man reminded her of those viel creature that took away her happiness a long time ago, whatever the reason was, Daisy didn't let it ruin her day.

'Are you done downloading? You're lucky I got fixed the internet, damn those provider, can't even do their jobs properly. Where does my money go? Probably in their asses.' Megan muttered to herself while silently cursing. Daisy chuckled because of her friend's silliness.
Thankfully its their break now and only a few customers came in the morning so, Daisy still has some energy to watched and download some videos on youtube. The event that happened an hours ago drained her fully charged energy and it made her having a second thought if she's only being paranoid or if that strange customer was really implying something on her. Probably the leadoff.
'Yes, thank you for letting me do this here and I apologize if its taking the Mbps of your wifi.'
'Don't mention it. I need the wifi for sending emails anyway, ya know work related and other stuff. Just finish what you have to do and enjoy the internet while it lasts. Those arsehole called provider will take it away without warning.'
Daisy just nodded her head and let her friend to her own thoughts consisting of a series of curses and complaints. She's waiting to finish copying the downloads to the flash drive when the bell jingled.
'You again. Did you brought my share of food this time?' Megan said exasperatedly while rolling her eyes. Daisy looked up from her laptop to face the only one person that makes her day even more better. Bryson has a toothy grin on his face while raising the paper bag and a box of donuts in front of her.
Yeah, she absolutely missed the guy. Who would't anyway? Its very different to the man before, she only feel comfort and sense of security towards the guy in front of her compared to that. . . Just forget it. Daisy thought to herself.
'Nope. Sorry Megan its only for my shorty.' Bryson hovered above her with his towering height. How could he be so tall while she looked like a kid that never grow up? So unfair. Daisy pried the box of donuts off his hand and about to open it to grab a piece when Bryson stopped her.
'Nah-uh. I told you to eat your meal first before desert. It'll spoil your appetite.'
'Wow. How sweet. You know what, why don't you just take her to your home or live with her. You basically act like her father.' Megan teasingly said while flashing her mischievous smile.
'Hmm thats a good idea Megan. Here take one, not the strawberry flavor though its shorty's favorite and I only brought Chinese foods. Just help yourself.' Bryson opened the box of donut and handed it over to Megan who has a twinkling eyes and drooling mouth.
'Sweet. Glad at your service Bryson. If Daisy doesn't comply with your plan though, you can carry her like a sack of potatoes, trust me she won't even complain.' Her friend taunted whilst muching the vanila with nuts on top flavored donut, Daisy just looked at the both them with horrified expression on her face, they were talking like she isn't in the room. Unbelievable.
'Hmm I'll think about it thoroughly, for now let's just eat. I'm starving and I know shorty too. I'm supposed to take care of her like her daddy.' Megan started laughing hysterically while Daisy just hardened her face because she doesn't understand what was so funny about that.
Isn't it feel good that someone finally care about her like a father to his own child, though of course, she doesn't want Bryson to be her father because that was kind of. . . off-putting but, the point was, the thoughts that counts right?
'Oh god! I can't. . . Dude! You just dropped the bomb with your neutral face like it was nothing. Never peg you for that kind of kink though.' Daisy still doesn't know what they were talking about so she just sulked on her spot and fiddled the seam of her sweater. Why she couldn't understand it?
Bryson just laughed silently and gently pinched her left cheeks. The guy looked at her meaningly when she's still trying to understand the whole ordeal.
'Stop overthinking with that pretty little head of yours and just eat then we can talk about the whole teaching later on 'kay? Here. I bought your nuggets by the way.' The guy put the box of nuggets and Chinese food with chopstick in front of her as it grabbed the stool at the side of the counter and put it behind her.
Daisy just nodded her head while signing Bryson a thank you before she sat and started eating her foods. The three of them eat silently afterwards.
