Chapter 6 - -Chapter 5-

The android shell is currently plugged back in to the main computer. Bot has been updating his software into the shell. It's been taking a while, maybe 30 mins or so.

You decided to chill in the living room until his transfer was complete.

Currently, you're sitting on your couch, eating and watching one of your favorite shows. You tried to pay attention, but your mind kept wandering to Bot and his new shell.

"Geez, I wonder if he'll act any different."

"Will he still have the same voice?"

"He better not try anything!"

Ugh. This is gonna be one hell of a ride isn't it?

You were zoning out, you could feel it. Your hand slowed, no longer shoving food into your mouth. Your eyes were unfocused while still staring at the screen. The dialogue on the TV was only background noise now. More worries and concerns ran through your mind. Your conscious was obviously trying to tell you this was a bad idea.

You were so out of it, you didn't even hear the soft footsteps walking up behind you. You couldn't hear the mechanical breathing or the creaking of the floor boards. You couldn't feel the eyes lingering on the back of your head. And worst of all...

you couldn't sense the intentions the figure behind you had.

Your eyes were half-lidded as you kept contemplating all the possibilities and complications this transfer could bring you. That is- until you felt two very solid [ ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) ] arms wrap around you from over the back of the couch.

...dude wtf?

You quickly whipped your head around, your hair slightly hitting you in the face as you stared in awe at what was behind you.

A man- well, an android. He was tall, a little too tall for your liking. His hair was a dull black, his eyes were steal gray and his skin was EXTREMELY pale. I'm talkin' like- white people during January pale.

(Anyway, y'all probably didn't need that, let's get back to the description.)

He was wearing a plain white turtle neck and his cheeks were slightly flushed a light pink.

He looked kinda...I don't know- plain?

You were still pretty shocked, you hadn't expected him to look so real!

"So...you finished your transfer?"

"Yes, master. It took a long time but I think it was worth it." He smiled sweetly, his eyes turned to crescents as he did.

W O A H

Ok, was not expecting that at all! His voice was very smooth, it didn't sound robotic in the slightest! This android model must have some very good artificial vocal chords. Your eyes widened as you continued to observe and study his face. You just couldn't get over how real he looked!

"What am I gonna do with him?" You thought

"Master? Your heart rate has increased dramatically in the last 30 seconds. What's wrong? Am I scaring you?"

His eyebrows furrowed in worry and his eyes met yours.

Your turned around to face the TV again and put a hand to your forehead.

"Jesus christ Bot, you just look so...human."

"Oh, is that a compliment?"

"Yeah...yeah, I guess it is."

He walked over to the front of the couch and sat down next to you. You could feel the couch cushions sink under him. How heavy did he say this shell was again?

"Hey Bot how much do you weigh, again?"

"Approximately 186 pounds or 84.36 kilos."

"Right..."

That's not good. If you ever had to fight him he'd definitely win only because of his height and weight advantages. Shit this isn't looking too good already.

You looked over at Bot, he was looking at his hands in bewilderment. His steal grey eyes looked them over, he then stood up and went over to the mantle under the TV. He picked up a small porcelain vase from the top and held it carefully in his hands.

"Bot, what are you doing?" Your voice wavered a little, you were concerned to say the least.

"I've never held something before. It feels...interesting. I've also never seen objects this up close before. It feels weird to only have two optical sensors."

"Optical sensors...you mean eyes?"

"Yes, I suppose that is the less formal term for them. Usually I'd watch everything from the security cameras, now I can only see objects in my range of sight."

"Alright...well. What are we gonna do now?"

"First I want to find out how strong I am with this body." He put the small vase down again and went over to the small table next to the couch. Picking it up with ease, he set it back down and went over to the large coffee table in the center of the room. It was also lifted with no trouble at all.

You continued to stare at him in awe as he lifted various heavy objects around the house. Once he picked up a couple more things, his gaze fell on you.

Looking around the room confused, you were about to ask him what was wrong. Until he swooped you up with his arms and held you...a little too close for comfort.

"Look! I can even lift you with ease!" He had a wide smile on his face as he spun you around like a child would a toy.

"Why do you sound so surprised?!" You shrieked as he continued to spin you.

"Bot! Put me down you're gonna drop me!"

"No I'm not! You're not as heavy as you think you are, master."

He finally put you down, you were a little dizzy and stumbled a bit has your feet hit the carpeted floor. You lost your footing while trying to walk over to the couch, but you didn't hit the floor.

Looking up, you saw grey eyes looking into your E/C ones. His arms wrapped around you, pulling your body closer to his. Your hands grabbed onto his shirt, so you wouldn't slip. You saw him hesitate for a second, his eyebrows scrunched together in confusion for a moment before relaxing again.

"Bot?"

"I...feel something. A new emotion. I've never felt like this before." His face was DANGEROUSLY close to yours. You were gonna tell him to leave some space for Jesus but you didn't think he'd get it.

"Um...ok? Describe what you're feeling to me." Nervousness was evident on your face and in your voice as he slowly lowered both of you down onto the ground. You were now sitting on the living room floor, facing eachother.

"I...don't know. The cooling system just turned on, even though I didn't command it to. My face feels hot, like I'm sick (CORONA VIRUS). And my hands...they're shaking a bit, see?" He leaned closer to you and held his hands out so you could see them. They were, in fact, trembling slightly.

"Tch, it's probably from lifting all those heavy things dummy. Now you're gonna be sore for a couple days."

"Sore?"

"Yes, sore. That's what happens when humans use muscles for too long and they get tired."

"But, master. I'm no human." He continued to stare at you, well- more like observed than stared. He looked like a kid staring at the animals in the zoo. It wasn't a surprise he'd be curious about stuff, but there was something about this stare that wasn't normal...
