"They are up to something. Run! Run as fast as you can." Jorge screamed at the top of his lungs. He took his armor off and prepared to run when he saw Qazi along with the girl, and he immediately came to a conclusion.
Even if his life were in danger, he wouldn't run away in the face of crime and injustice. Qazi, reading vibes of Jorge, quickly screamed,
"I didn't do anything. If you don't believe me, ask her."
He was didn't expect the girl to take his side, and he was right.
"Pervert. He was peeking from above while I was peeing, and then kidnapped me."
It looked like it was enough for Jorge to strike. He unsheathed the sword and prepared to attack.
His sword was golden, reflecting the light from the huge red pillars looked threatening.
"I wasn't peeking; it was just an accident. What would I even see from above? Tell him the truth, or he will kill me."
"But you were…' The girl said in a low voice, almost inaudible, as she thought
'From his desperate look and voice, it looks like I've misunderstood something. If he gets killed for nothing, I will feel guilty all my life. What do I do?'
The girl finally came to a decision and shouted,
"It's might have been a misunderstanding. Yeah, it was a misunderstanding. Don't kill him."
Jorge sheathed his blade and said
"Run."
He then sprinted as fast as he could away from there.
"Can you put me down now?"
"Oh, yeah." The girl was still in his arms. He put the girl down and said,
"Thank you. I am very sorry, but it wasn't my fault." Tremors began in the ground.
"I think we should run as that guy said."
"Where will we run to? I don't even know where you brought me. I can't even call the elders and brothers of my clan now."
"What would I do? You started screaming, and I didn't know what to do." The tremors became bigger and bigger as cracks started forming on the ground.
"Let's run. We will run the way the same way as that guy."
As they started running, the girl couldn't keep up with Qazi due to her low level.
"Let me carry you," Qazi said, squatting down.
"No need. I will be fine on my own." The tremors were getting bigger and bigger, and a tree suddenly fell. The girl was standing right on the trajectory of the falling tree, unknowing of what was going to happen to her.
Fortunately, Qazi spotted the falling tree and quickly pushed the girl, narrowly escaping the tree himself.
"Hurry up. Think of it as me repaying you for putting you in this situation." Qazi squatted once again before the girl. The girl was hesitating at first but agreed after some persuasion from Qazi.
The girl climbed on his back and put her hand above his chest, locking it. She then put her legs and crossed it in front, and held him tight. After making sure that the girl was ready, he started running at his full speed.
The source of these tremors seemed to be coming from the huge red pillars. After about half an hour, the tremors stopped, and the huge red light pillars gradually disappeared.
"Phew! It's finally over. Let's find somewhere to rest."
After some time, he found a small cave below a steep hill and decided to rest there.
"Let's rest here for now. Won't you get off?"
"Yeah, I was getting out." The girl quickly jumped off from Qazi.
They sat on some stones inside the cave as Qazi asked her,
"By the way, you were around the fog. What was happening there?"
"Oh, that? I heard that the fog might have been from the Half-Fogged Mountain. The Mountain that the Rung Clan lived on. I think the members of the Rung Clan are all dead now. Poor People! I don't think they even saw it coming."
Although after experiencing the effects of fog and seeing the fog, he had a similar kind of conclusion in his mind, he kept rejecting the idea. Now that he heard it from someone else, his mind shook.
The memories of the Clan filled his mind. The faces of members of the clan, elders, and leader filled his mind. He wanted to dive into those memories, never waking up to reality.
His eyes staring into the emptiness, his heart filled with sorrow, and his mind filled with the memories of his dear clan, he couldn't control his tears.
His tears started rolling down his cheeks, making the ground below him. Wet. He didn't attempt to wipe his tears; he just wanted to stay like that, roaming in the memories of his clan forever.
The girl didn't know why he suddenly started crying. She didn't know what to say, so she just stood beside him, patting his back.
A voice came from behind, from the darkness inside the cave.
"Why are you crying? Death is just a part of Life. Don't be sad because they left, be happy that they left you with happy memories that you can cherish. They gave you something valuable; cherish it within your heart."
His tears stopped flowing after he heard the voice. His heart became calm, and his mind became much clearer. When he looked behind, he saw an old man with a long beard, long hair.
The only piece of cloth that he was wearing was covering his private parts. The girl screamed as she closed her eyes,
"Ahhh! Another pervert."
"Thank you. I feel much better now." Qazi wholeheartedly thanked the old man.
"Nothing Big. A piece of advice for you. I'll go now."
"Wait! Don't go. What is your name?"
"My name? It's Saint Yasana."
"Saint Yasana, I will definitely repay you someday. Just wait for it."
Qazi didn't know if that old man heard what he said, but what he said, he was definitely going to do.
