"Breaking News! A terrorist attack was just reported in the city of ****. The terrorist seems to have rigged bombs onto cars and a helicopter on the highway, the suspect is unknown but is still out there and deadly. If you suspect anyone of-" The tv turned off.
"James you should really stop watching that kind of stuff.. I mean it's pretty scary and what are the chances of meeting that terrorist anyway? You should just focus on school!" A black haired female nodded to herself content with what she had just said.
"Mom.. turn the tv back on.. There may have been crucial information that could save our lives!" A wide-eyed young boy seated at a couch in front of the tv said with a worried tone.
James was a fan of the news channel to say it simply, the hobby was quite odd but he saw it differently. If he was able to see all the disastrous things happening out in the world then he may have a chance to keep him and his mom safe.
"No James! Go to your room for now mommy is gonna watch some kitchen nightmares!" The female smiled and plopped onto the sofa with a loud sound.
In quick succession she turned the tv on and changed the channel immediately as to ignore what is going on outside - this is how she coped.
Reluctantly, James headed to his room with his head held downward. He hopped onto his bed and sighed and then soon fell asleep.
"Does he know? He knows. Where is he? He's here? I see. I see. Interesting, interesting! What is he doing? Is he asleep? He's sleeping? HAHAHAH, I see, I see!" Whispers of many voices echoed throughout James's room in the night as he slept. A hand reached out from under his bed, the hand was white and the flesh of it was tearing off. Nails as long as a knife protruded outward from the fingers creating a clicking and clawing noise from the floor.
"Is it time? IS IT TIME? To do what? Eat him? HAHAHA maybe.. Maybe!"
James jolted awake in his bed startled, causing the hand to quickly jolt back under the bed in response. Jamss then quickly calming down as he realized the strange noise he heard was from the tv that his mother had left on in the living room. He got up to fix himself a snack before heading back to bed.
