The system was doing what it was told, she was transforming Serena into a Armored Fly, a very common species whos natural predator is the One-Eye Chameleon that eats any type of bug. Her body as it became more solid also finally let her feel things, as a slime she could only see but not anything else so this was a very good upgrade for her.
Serena: I hate my new life.
System:It was you who accepted this so you shall bear what is to come, but now you can go and get the DNA of a new creature so you are not stuck as this if you don't want.
Serena: But eating poop IS NOT what I want to do, is there a way to detect blood so I can do that instead?
System: Yes you can but due to the ranking system made on this world you will have to achieve breakthroughs which will not be an easy task. And as I can tell you are wondering how many ranks there are so ill be as precise as possible.

Rank 3- Strato
Rank 4- Diver
Rank 5- Master
Rank 6- Champion
Rank 7- King
Rank 8- Emperor
Rank 9- Titan
Rank 10- Gemini
System: As cheesy and stupid as they sound they are the ranks, these are the ones humans have reached or seen but there are a few more that you may be able to reach if you mix the DNA of the strongest creatures together or if you manage to find creatures higher which are considered Legendary to find.
Serena: So I can be the strongest thing there is if I mix DNA of the strongest together?
System: Yes but as the Minor gods of this world they have decided to create their own worlds too, and some from what I am reading from God, some have created more than one.
Serena was interested in this, she could become the strongest being with these ranks being breached but she new that there was a catch since not everything is easy.
Serena: What's the catch?
System: You are sharp, the catch is not a good thing that may end up changing your state of mind, some creatures have strong instincts and as a bug you are currently holding back from them but some are stronger than others. If you start noticing changes in your mind then that means that your persona is being changed by the instincts that that certain creature is giving.
Serena was baffled, she could end up becoming a monster, but thankfully the system said it was only if she absorbed DNA that is from simple minded creatures or extremely high ranks she cannot tolerate. But while all this talk was going on she didn't notice one thing. She had been flying towards food without thinking about it. As soon as she snapped back to reality, she saw her worst nightmare, a HUGE pile of dung.
