Magnus- 1 year and a half
"Magnus?," Lio asked, sitting on the bed across from me. I turned with a yawn, scratching the back of my head.
"Yeah?," I answered. We're currently in the SilverClaw gang HQ. Back before Dylan turned out to be Ryan. He ran a finger over his scarred fingers.
"Do you think it'll be like this forever?," He murmured, his breath catching. I sat up, moving over to sit by him.
"What do you mean?," I asked, glancing at him.
"Well... Before I was kidnapped... We were always trying to kill each other. Literally at times. But... Then you came to save me... I never could ask you why," He sighed, clenching his fist.
"Whatre you asking?," I demanded. He turned, looking me in the eyes.
"You and I have become... friends again.. Havent we?," He asked, inching closer. I nodded, looking down at my palm. The palm I've used to inflict so many injuries to him.
"Yeah... I couldnt leave you here alone with your kidnappers... Much less abandon you...," I retorted. My heart started pounding. What is this feeling.. The heat in my cheeks. The butterflies in my gut... His eyes fluttered.
"What if I die... Because of the decision I made?," He asked. I gave him a sad look, grabbing his shoulder.
"I wont let you die... I swear it on my life... " I swore. He nodded, leaning closer. My heart started racing. What is going on.. What is this.
Right when I reached Maximum anticipation, he just placed his head onto my shoulder, leaning against me. Stop Magnus...
I reached around him, tracing his shoulder blades. Hes grown more since he joined the gang.
"Lio... You know I hate you right?," I lied in a low mumble. He chuckled, pulling back and giving me the most beautiful smile I'd ever seen.
"Yeah... I hate you too Magnus,"
Present day
I gasped, sitting up in pain. Where am I!
"Lio!," I rattled. Turning to my stomach.
"Magnus, I'm right here," He reassured. I couldnt see him as he turned me back onto my back,
"Lio- ," I coughed. He smiled, his cheeks tear stained.
"Thank god you're alive!," He cried, before dropping to my level, pressing a terrified kiss to my lips. I froze, closing my eyes to enjoy it. It may be the last time I ever get this feeling.
"I'm sorry," He whispered as he leaned back. I looked down, jotting the cold on my stomach. He froze my wounds over.
"You know the deal with my magic... It was only a gamble... But I didnt know what else to do," He panicked, gripping my hand. I struggled to sit up.
"Here," He whispered, pulling me upright. I clenched my gut.
"Lio... Do you forgive me?," I pleaded. He nodded, leaning forward and pressing his forehead to mine.
"Yeah... I.. I do," He whispered, nodding his head.
"And... I was so stupid... I thought I couldnt trust you.. I thought you would reject me for seeing people when no one was around," He breathed shakily.
"No... I might've been freaked out.. But never reject you... I.. I love you," I murmured. I groaned, clenching my gut.
I clenched my side. How long has it been... A year? ... No... A lot longer than that.
"Lio... Are you... uh...umm," I bit my lip, looking down. He raised a brow.
"Magnus?," He asked worriedly. I looked at my hands, twiddling my fingers.
"Are you a virgin?," I demanded. He turned red.
"Really! At a time like this! You were just dying!," He complains, glancing away.
"Just answer the question you damn nerd," I growled, looking away.
"Yeah... I am... But... Magnus Weve only been dating for about a year," He murmurs under his breath. I roll my eyes, sitting up straight.
"Fine then," I growled, yanking my shirt off. His eyes widened.
"Are you gonna take your shirt off or do I need to do it for you?," I demanded breathlessly. He looked away with a nervous squeal.
"Magnus I-," He whispered. I pulled him against me, fingers skimming the rim of his neckline.
"Hmm?," I asked, licking my lips. He gave me a nervous look.
"Ummm... I'm probably no good-," He started. I pushed him down, crawling over him.
"Then I'll do the work," I whispered. He turned tomato red.
"Magnus let's just think about this for a moment-," He panted, looking away.
"You do know what comes after kissing dont you?," I asked. He nodded, gulping.
"Well you've had a year to go past that point... And I almost died, and we broke up. I want to make sure I'm the only one who can fully claim you as their own... ," I growled. I slid my hand down, trailing his chest.
"I'm working with Flare remember!," He tried. I leaned down, locking eyes with him.
"So you dont want to? Because if you do, Just shut up and take off your shirt," I ordered. He stared into my eyes for a second, before gently turning and laying me on the ground, giving me a moment to hesitate. Is he saying no?
Before I knew it he had my pinned, pulling his shirt off over his head.
"Fuck yeah I want to do this," He panted. Before I knew what was happening, he was upon me.
I woke up in the dark wrapped in a... What is it, a blanket? I sat upright, pulling it tighter about myself.
"Lio?," I asked. No response. I let the blanket drop, looking at my abdomen. The ice had thawed. The pain was gone too. Was it that long?
I turned, pulling a shirt on and standing upright, glancing around me.
"Lio!," I called again. No response. I looked at the table, seeing a note in pretty words.
"Flare called and wondered where I was at.. Meet here again tomorrow at the same time," It said. I smiled, crumpling the paper up. I think this means were back together now.
Lio
"How was the booty call?," Decay demanded. I glared at him, pulling my gloves up onto my wrists as thoughts of last night made butterflies flutter in my gut. Did I really do that... With Magnus?
"Shut up idiot, it's not your place," Charles reprimanded, pulling his familiar mask onto his face.
"So Lio... Tell me one good reason why I shouldn't kill you for betrayal right here and now?," Flare demanded, grabbing a bottle of water from the bridge.
"Easy. Magnus doesnt work for the FBI," I informed him. They all froze giving me a confused glance. I crossed my arms, leaning against the lockers.
"Not that it's your guy's business. But Magnus disagreed with their orders to kill. Burnt Ryan's hands off and assaulted the leading federal agent. Hes just as wanted as we are," I smirked, cracking my knuckles. Decay whistled.
"I've heard hes almost as powerful as you. Why dont we recruit him?," Dynamite exclaimed. I turned, stalking towards the middle.
"Ok, for one. He isnt almost as strong as me. He is even stronger than me.," I started, but charles cut me off walking closer to us.
"Two, he wants to rip Flares head off. The only reason Flare is so injured is because of Magnus. And Magnus wasnt even putting his maximum effort in," Charles added, grabbing a bottle. I looked down. What happened was in the heat of the moment...
"The twins are out and about doing some scouting for us. I suppose it's time we all reveal our identities, seeing as Lionel could've ratted us put to Magnus or the Feds. I think hes earned our trust," Charles says as an afterthought. I raised an eyebrow, looking at the people surrounding me.
"To start off with, My name is Damion. Before I joined Flare, they called me the explosion celestial. I can conjure up short blasts of heat in order to cause an explosion. Fairly simple really," Dynamite piped up, crossing his arms at me. He raised a brow.
Four more unfamiliar figures entered the room. My eyes widened. Theres so many of them.
"My name is Rain. As my name suggests, I can control the weather," An emo looking guy spouted off, playing on a phone.
"Isnt that your code name?," I demanded. He nodded with a shrug.
"That's my whole identity... I didnt exist prior to this group. ," He shrugged, tossing his phone aside and giving me a sinister grin.
"I'm a nobody... Just like you,"
"Well, My name is Jackson. Im one of the twins. Evie is my twin. I have wolf abilities, and she has vampire abilities. Kinda," He shrugged. Damion smirked.
"They're the runts of the group,"
"Shut up explosion boy!,"
"Wanna rumble Dog?,"
"Anyday brat!,"
"Anyways.. I suppose that leaves me and decay," Said a smaller figure in the back. The second he stepped closer, I got chills. I couldnt see anything more than his lips under the hood.
"My name is Jordan... Me, Evie, Jackson and Rain have been on a scouting mission. That what were best at. Now... Since we already know enough about you... I'm going to bed. Have fun kiddos," He grumbled in a low voice, before lumbering off.
"Are we seriously telling him?," Decay demanded. Flare looked at me, a sinister look crossing his pale features.
"Tell anyone this, You're dead meat," He growled. I nodded. He took a step forward, and suddenly his appearance melted off of him like butter. He grew a little taller, his hair darker. His eyes were a beautiful silver.
"My name is Alexander... Sarah, Eren and I knew each other as kids... However they left me to rot. My power is copy. This is what I actually look like. I know, not much of a difference. But enough to fool people," He growled. I stared at him... That name...
In my head I could remember my mother dragging me away from a small boy, a frail girl hiding behind his back as they cried for our help.
"Fine. My name is Ben...," Decay grumbled. He looked me up and down.
"But... I'm not telling you anything more than that," He growled. Charles coughed, getting between us.
"I... I," I stuttered, unable to look away from Alex- I mean Flare. He raised a dark brow and I turned, looking away.
It's a part of my imagination... Theres no way I knew him and Sarah as kids... But how did I know his name?
"We need to relocate soon. The FBI are looking for us," Charles changed the subject.
"Yeah... But let's take out as many of them as we can first,"
