Prologue

My name is Troy Michaelson 17½yrs . I'm in my last year of high school and to my say I'm quite miserable .You know what the funny part is I'm in love with my best friend and it took me a lot of time to figure it out and when I finally realized it ....it was too late .

Six months ago.....

..."Wake up !" Wake up you gonna be late for skul " the voice pierced through my eardrums while I was being shaken I knew it was my mom although my vision was still blurry .

Like that my previous sleep was destroyed no matter how much I wanted to go back to it I couldn't so I woke up. " You better wake up and dress up quickly otherwise u will be late for school you know you are not good at managing time" she said as she moved out of my some how messy room ."I should have locked the day" I whispered to myself as I stood up to go to the bathroom to clean myself up

When I reached the bathroom I took a warm shower brushed my teeth wore a simple short and I moved down to the dining room where my mom was seated. She was a woman in her late thirties . The dining table was a 4-seater and was square in shape. I sat at the table to take breakfast. "Why aren't u in Uniform" she asked me. "I don't want to get food on it so that I can be smart " I paused "wise right" then continued with confidence. "You do know that you are 17." she asked me mockingly . I nodded my head in agreement "Well act like it " she said a bit annoyed. "Don't worry I'm a boy I don't dress up slowly mom."I tried to calm her.

"But Troy..." I stood up swiftly and went to dress up.

I reached my room the brand new uniform was placed on a hanger by mom. Yap she had cleaned and ironed it for me I wore a navy blue trouser , a white shirt and a navy blue tie plus a bus coat .I put on my shoes(all star) with socks inside and tied my laces. I combed my hair but not so much it looked a bit messy. After dressing up I moved down to the dining room where my mom was.

"Oh my ...some one is looking handsome" she said with a smile.

"Mom... stop it " I said a bit annoyed.

"Alright alright you better head to school now."she said as she was fixing my tie.

"Bye mom " I said while moving towards the door with my back.

"Oh Troy have this " she said while handing a silver watch to me. "It belonged to your father". she handed it to me with teary eyes.

I knew what that was abt so I moved close and hugged her. "I will be fyn mom" I comforted her. "Alright then you better get going" as she patted on my shoulder I was a bit taller than her . "Bye mom"

"Bye Troy "

I headed to the street and got a taxi I could see my mom standing at the door way looking at me go.

I reached the school gate "Levi's High School " that's how it read. I checked my watch and it was 7: 50 a.m. I had read abt the school program and and knew lessons where to start at 8:00a.m so I had ten minutes to get to class unfortunately I didn't no where it was .

But somehow I was lucky because my mom had sorted out everything with the administration earlier last week on Monday so my role was to jst go the next Monday which is today and study.
