One week before Christmas break

So let's put it this way.
Everyone knows my mom loves Jason. She's just head over heels for him. She thinks he's some gift from heaven to grant her daughter with his kindness.
Ever since the news of Jason being a prince got out she has completely lost it.
I eventually had to explain everything to her, she wasn't at all pleased with the Queen and what I was doing behind her back, but she says she's on my side.
Last month during Thanksgiving since Jason and his older brother Jacob had no other family in the states my mom thought that it was a great idea to invite them over so now it not only was it a Thanksgiving with Fryday and his family, but also Jason and his older brother.
The tension was extreme and my mom didn't find anything wrong with it.
Fryday and Jason glared at each other almost the entire time, yet my parents, not even Fryday's parents seemed to notice it.
I layed on my bed in my room. The Queen is still very quiet, which only caused suspiciousness with the press. Their already pressuring and boardering her with questions that seems like she'll never answer.
Suddenly I heard a loud screaming come from outside my door. I quickly hopped off my bed and ran to the door. I pressed my ear against the door and listened closely.
It was Fryday and Mrs.June arguing.
"How many times do I have to tell you that you have no right to say that name?" Fryday yelled. His voiced sounded angry and frustrated.
"What happened to you? Allen isn't here. He did this to himself it has nothing to do with me!" I heard Mrs. June yell causing my bedroom door to slightly shake.
"You don't know anything! Allen did this, because no one talked to him. No one was there when he needed help, but I was there. I helped him."
"Allen was the best thing that's ever happened to me! He was the best part of my life. Maybe you do know that he died, but you don't know was that I tried to stop him." I heard Mrs. June yell before I heard the sound of her heels fade.
I crack open my door slightly and I saw Fryday curled up in the corner of the hallway. I walked over to him and sat next to him.
"You heard everything didn't you?" He said as he looked at the wooden floor. His black hair covered his bright green eyes.
I wasn't used to seeing him like this.
"You guys were pretty loud." I said laughing nervously.
"Allen was my older brother who commited suicide a year ago. A year ago he was recently struggling in school and with his friends and his girlfriend. I didn't know what to do, but be there for him. Allen and I were really close. We told each other everything, but he didn't tell me what he was going through and I hate that I didn't know sooner. The very same day before he died he was on the phone with my mom. Soon after he wouldn't pick up his phone or answer texts. When I came home that night he was on his bed, pills were everywhere and the last person on his call log was my mom. I was angry and sad. I've never felt so many emotions at once. My family hasn't been the same. It hurts to wake up every day knowing that the person who you loved and trusted the most is now gone, because of my mom. I don't believe her. I can't believe her." Fryday said angrily and ran his hands through his hair revealing his watery eyes.
"I know your angry and upset, but you can't be mad at your mom. I know I don't have a say in this and I can't imagine this happening to me, but your not responsible for anyone's happiness. Happiness comes to them, not from another person." I said looking at the floor.
I felt Fryday's eyes lurk on me for a second, but I didn't look up. Not now at least.
"He was the best, and thank you. Coming to the states wasn't easy and was a hard adaption to life, but I have friends like you and not Jason and I've got a girlfriend. I'm just glad." He said looking down at me. His green eyes were piercing into my brown ones.
"Just kiss already! Oh gosh how long will this take!"
We turned our heads to see Devanie in a pink dress, neon tights, red converse, orange butterfly hairpins, and a mean looking her face. She angrily stomped away and Fryday and I just laughed at her.
It's important to focus on what's in front of you.
