Casa Della's Village.
June 4th, the year 2018. Monday.
The three of them left Margo Monteverde's mansion, the popular actress of this year, 2018.
Margo's acting skill was way beyond the word 'veteran'. The Philippine Daily Inquirer praised her for the level of her acting skills.
She can cry at the least second at the beginning of every sad scene. Mina's guy's feelings came back when he saw Margo earlier. And Mina, as a human being born as a male, thought that she was beautiful and admired her for that.
'When You Left.'
Mina had puffy eyes in the morning. He felt he was inside that drama even though it wasn't. He always cried watching this every night.
The three were walking towards the exit of the village. They talked about different topics, some were insignificant. The Kingston Restaurant was minutes away from Casa Della's Village.
You don't need to ride a taxi; Walking from where you live is the only thing you can do. The three of them didn't bring their automobiles because Mina begged the two.
"Hey, guys. Gonna call the rest of the group," Mina called out.
'They are so gorgeous that I am way out of line.' Mina agonized.
Carmela had her own undeniable and pure beauty everyone will admire. She doesn't want to wear makeup, but she's pretty without that.
Zoey got this attitudinal and arrogant expression written all over her face. She's tall, had fair skin, and gorgeous. Mina loved her for who she was, even sometimes she backlashes every word he said.
"Sure, Mina. I know you will dream of Marcus as your boyfriend. You can snatch him from me in no time," Zoey repulsed to Mina while rolling her eyes.
"Zoey, you're overreacting. Can I have a huge crush on him? What the hell are you talking about, snatching him from you?" Mina retorted while also doing the same thing to Zoey.
"Yes. Marcus is so handsome, handsome," Zoey declared.
"Zoey, you're pathetic. He can't get me. Because I'm a goddess. Let me remind you. You're much more gorgeous than me," Mina reprimanded, then circled like a fairy. Mina loved his gay self. He embraced it wholly.
Zoey and Carmela laughed at Mina's humorous gesture. He, later on, joined them. Friends who will neither betray you nor leave you astray. That's what Mina thought about having this kind of blessing.
Carmela volunteered to call the rest of the group. She texted them that their rendezvous was Kingston Restaurant. She called the four remaining friends of their group.
The three of them continued walking towards the restaurant.
The ambiance of Kingston Restaurant was relaxing. Its antique design made the customers feel refreshed. Their palpable delicacies steamed through the air, making their mouths drool.
The doors and windows's made of hardwood, and the lights were lit on lanterns that hang from the high ceiling. The whole restaurant's painted in creamy color. Accompanied seats delved with velvet cushions.
Only elites and those who can afford the bill of the restaurant's cuisine can enter. It's early in the morning, so there were a few customers around. The three of them sat at a 7-seater table which suited the size of their group.
When they settled down, Carmela got dazed while staring out of the window. She saw the cars driving in and out of Manila through Bella's Main Highway.
Mina broke the silence that Carmela took in a second and poked her. She glanced at him.
"Carmela, can you please tell us what happened earlier? I'm so damn curious." Mina's bewildered expression made Carmela's heart thump louder. Zoey agreed to what Mina said.
"Honestly, I don't know what happened," Carmela shrugged. Zoey and Mina got confused.
"Are you being humble again?" Mina mocked.
"No, Mina. It's true. I don't know what happened there."
Carmela chimed while lowering down her voice, then she stared back at the window.
How can Margo know her, when this day is the first time they met?
"When I walked into the door, she called out to me by my name," Carmela quipped. Mina and Zoey looked at each other for a second.
"How could Margo know you? It's the first time you two met together earlier, right?" Zoey asked, while narrowing her eyes.
"I don't know, Zoey, but that's what happened. She called my name. I am surprised. I don't even need to introduce myself to her. It felt like she knows me well," Carmela revealed while furrowing her eyebrows. The noise around the area was minimal, but Carmela's voice could have gotten louder. If she didn't lower it down.
"Maybe... She saw you somewhere?" Mina suggested while tilting his head to one side. Carmela shook her head. That was not it, it was something else.
"No, Mina. But I felt scared," Carmela imparted, frightened at the thought. Zoey and Mina both sighed in their seats.
"Let's pass it out, hm? Maybe she has a best friend who looks exactly like you, or a cousin, whom she loves well. Maybe they have the same name as you," Zoey commented. She, too, was nervous about what she confessed.
How could an actress know her for good?
"Yeah, Carmela. Don't be so anxious about it. We're here. We're going to protect you no matter what," Mina concluded.
"And Hannah, we will protect her, too. Because we're best friends, right?" Mina added. Carmela needed that comfort from her friends.
"Thank you guys for being here with me. Maybe I need to let my anxiousness pass out," Carmela assured then smiled sadly.
Carmela felt her instincts rising. Margo knew her. She's perplexed and fearful. If only she had the power to know her real name,
"Hey, guys," Carmela looked up and saw Marcus sitting down beside his girlfriend, Zoey. Mina got his mouth open wide and drooling over Marcus' hotness.
Marcus's brown, narrow eyes. His thin eyebrows that were in line, a chiseled jawline, and fair skin. His hairstyle was always the short, dark brown hair that's mandatory for his job as a police officer.
He had broad shoulders and always stood straight. He had another polo shirt on. It's covered with a black jacket. The reason was he always carries his small, pocket-sized semi-automatic pistol.
"Your eyes! I will bulge it out with my bare hands!" Zoey yelled at Mina. He's surprised with her back lashing hand.
"Babe, don't frighten Mina," Marcus' calm voice mumbled.
"Yeah, Zoey. Are you afraid I can steal him from you? For your information, he can be yours anytime. Go! I'll never mind," Mina shooed, waving his hands in the air. Carmela smirked at their bickering.
"Yes, I'm afraid, because I love him too much," Zoey proclaimed her love to Marcus. She placed her head on Marcus' shoulders.
"You're my one and only, Zoey," Marcus comforted, with the same sweetness Zoey gave him. Carmela thought that their relationship would last long.
"Feels like my dinner is rising because of you two," Mina overreacted while acting as he was puking. Zoey got annoyed by Mina's teasing. She slapped him by his shoulders.
"Hey Carmela, you're quiet again," Mina noticed Carmela's silence.
"It's nothing," Carmela cleared. By that time, their two friends, Matthew and Katrina, arrived.
"Hey! Why have you two arrived together? Hm?" Mina teased the two.
Matthew had his white shirt on, tight jeans, and rubber shoes. He had dimples when he smiled, and his beard was covering his whole chin. His pompadour hairstyle got the attention of everybody in the restaurant. He's tall, standing about 5 foot 10 inches. Katrina had her flowery dress on that made her lovely. She had an oval face shape and brown wavy hair. Her eyes were so round, and her curled lips were like a sexy pout.
The two of them suit together for their best friends.
"Hey, you two. You're hiding your relationship now, huh?" Zoey teased Matthew and Katrina.
While Matthew was sitting down beside Marcus, he said, "We met outside." Katrina sat down beside Carmela.
"Yeah, Matthew's right. We met outside," Katrina babbled on herself and agreed with Matthew.
"Are you sure?" They said in the chorus, except for Matthew and Katrina.
"Yes. You are all too malicious of us," Matthew defended.
"Guys, let's stop the teasing. The two might be too shy to talk to each other anymore. Matthew can't even confess his feelings to Katrina because of us." Mina said while smiling with malice.
Matthew was like the shyest guy in the world. He doesn't even want to court someone unless it was Katrina. Matthew was born without having to mingle with girls and he doesn't even want to have a girlfriend. He was born being single forever.
"Are you sure you and Katrina met outside?" Carmela's shocked expression showed as she heard that. She recognized the voice.
It's Abbey!
