"Xiao Liu, what are you doing here?" Guan Yu asked, smiling, there is one thing well appreciated: his sister was happy and free out of everything; this is the only silver lining he can hang on to.
"I come here to show you this if you are otherwise engaged…"
"No, come on, it has been days since I have not seen you," Guan Yu gestured to her to sit down, it felt nice for her to visit him like a normal sister and awfully enough it felt like she is married. Xiao Liu grins and runs to him, she poked Ren teasingly in greeting.
"We are discussing a very important business here, can you come later?" Ren sounds miffed for a reason.
"Ren," Guan Yu said in warning.
"Good lord, you are still like this. Maybe I will make you some lily cakes so it will sweeten you up?" Xiao Liu asked. Ren flinches realising he misplaced his anger.
"Maybe, I am sorry," Ren said
